"I Can't Sleep Since You Took My Puppet"

Okay, I know, the football season is officially over.

But there's always time for Bad Lip Reading.

And the BLR people released Part 2 of the NFL Bad Lip Reading serie at the end of last week, just before the Super Bowl.

But why waste it before the Big Game, when you can savor it a couple of days afterwards, right?

Enjoy!

"One of These Days, You'll Be Someone's Dinner"

The Disney folks used the Super Bowl to drop their first trailer for live action version of The Jungle Book.

Money well-spent, if you ask me.

In a day that subjected us to sheep singing Queen songs and animated colons, The Jungle Book trailer was a breath of fresh air.

And it looks amazing.

Another one of those I've got to put on my must-see-in-a-theater list.

How about you?

Disney's The Jungle Book - Big Game Trailer

Disney does it again!

When Siblings Score

Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos had just scored a touchdown to make the score of the Super Bowl 22 to 10 with only a few minutes left.

The Broncos decided to go for a two-point conversion to put them up by two full scores, meaning the Carolina Panthers would need a couple of miracles just to tie the game.

They line-up, Peyton tosses a perfect pass, boom! Two points! The Broncos are up by 14!

The CBS cameras switch to catch the action upstairs in the luxury box occupied by Peyton's family.

Everyone is super excited.

All but one guy. Peyton's little brother Eli - the QB for the New York Giants, who already has two Super Bowl rings of his own.

The look on Eli's face.. Well, no one's quite sure what it is, but it's still causing a lot of buzz on social media.

So far, this is the best tweet about it, if you ask me.

And This is How Boston Handles Snow

Boston, Massachusetts and the surrounding communities got hammered this time last year with some record snowfalls.

This year hasn't been too bad, but the past week has seen a couple of decent storms.

This footage was taken at the end of last week, showing a Bostonian helping to push a stuck motorist back into traffic on a slippery street.

The helper's attire might seem a bit bizarre - shorts and sneakers in a snowstorm - but it's Boston.

Bostonians are a hardy breed.

Or, they don't put a lot of thought into their winter attire.

You decide.

Our traffic tracker found some slick roads in the Beacon Hill area in Boston, including one car that was really stuck. What happens next is about as Boston as it gets.

Kentucky Fried Comedians

I'm having trouble keeping track of who's playing Colonel Sanders these days in the Kentucky Fried Chicken commercials.

In less than a year, there have been three different comedians jumping into the Colonel's white suit and doing their best to imitate a Kentucky drawl.

First it was Darrell Hammond, from Saturday Night Live. His Colonel was a little creepy for my taste.

Next up was Norm MacDonald, another SNL alum. He wasn't creepy, but he never got beyond being Norm MacDonald if you ask me.

Now, Jim Gaffigan's jumping into the frying pan.

Kentucky Fried Chicken | Dream | 2016 Big Game Commercial

Y’all ever have one of those dreams where a man dresses like you and talks like you and lives in your house and sells your delicious Nashville Hot Chicken? Hey, me too!

Posted by KFC on Saturday, February 6, 2016

The folks at KFC say that according to their polls, about 20% of people surveyed say they hate the new Colonels. Even the new one. And that's okay.

Way back in May, the company's CEO said, "They're actually talking about KFC, and you can market to love and hate — you cannot market to indifference."

He could be on to something there...

"Once You Stop, You Die"

One of my favorite late night segments is "Carpool Karaoke" on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

James has an amazing talent, and a decent set of pipes.

And he's able to sing along with and interview guests while navigating the streets of Los Angeles.

After the Super Bowl, he had Elton John in the passenger seat.

An amazing bit of entertainment.

Check out the extended version...

Steve Harvey Wins the Super Bowl

No, it's not another "Steve Harvey blew it" joke.

This is about Steve Harvey's T-Mobile ad during the Super Bowl.

By now, we've all seen the Verizon add with the colored balls coming down the chute to show how much better their coverage is than everyone else's.

Well, according to Steve and yesterday's ad, those numbers are wrong.

Those are last year's numbers, and this year, T-Mobile is doing much better, thank you.

I mean, it says it right there on the card, right, Steve?

This was one of the few good ads yesterday. So take a minute to enjoy it again, why don't you?

Next Year, I'm Watching the Super Bowl on German TV

This is so much fun.

Listen to these German announcers describing Von Miller's strip sack of Cam Newton that led to Super Bowl 50's first touchdown yesterday.

So much more entertaining and enthusiastic than the CBS broadcast team of Jim Nance and Phil Simms.

And even with the language barrier, enough English slips in so it's easier to follow than anything Shannon Sharpe has ever had to say.

Check it out. And be sure to check the channel listings for the German channel next year.

That's what I'm doing...

Meanwhile, you have to click on the link here to watch it. The NFL is lousy about sharing.

Odds Are Good You Had Chicken Wings Yesterday

According to estimates, Americans consumed over 1.3 billion chicken wings yesterday as a Super Bowl snack.

That works out to four chicken wings for every man, woman and child in the United States.

Not to mention the barbecue sauces, the blue cheese dressing, the hot sauces and more that come with the wings.

That's a huge number of chicken wings.

And that's not even counting the other goodies.

Have you taken your Monday morning inventory of everything you managed to wolf down yesterday?

While you do that, take a look at Rob Gronkowski, tight end for the New England Patriots, who was home watching the game like the rest of us yesterday, tackle some hot wings in a promotional video of some sort. It's just fun to watch.
