The Beyond section...

Ted and I were in Bed, Bath  and Beyond yesterday.  The 'Holiday Gift' beyond section is growing. Here are a few items that catch my eye.  Amazing the stuff that comes out over the holidays that seem like such a great idea to give.

Here are a few around the $20 range:

The Snuggie has a cousin..
THE FOOTSY.  A  throw with a place to keep your feet warm.

Take the Holiday Lights to bed wtih the Bright Light  pillow.

Floam is out for the holidays thanks to Nickelodeon!

Halloween yummies..

Here's a site called Hungry Girl that actually makes healthier versions of things taste good!  There's a Hungry Girl tv show on the Cooking Channel.  A new cookbook out.   It really is a cool site filled with lots of yummy goodies that are way healthier.   Here are some cool tips for Halloween.

Five Tricks for Outsmarting Treats

1. Don't buy your favorite candy to hand out to trick-or-treaters. Choose something you can more easily resist. If you have a weakness for chocolate, go with gummy candies. Can't stay away from chewy items? Choose something crunchy. You get the picture.

2. Out of sight, out of mind. Once the holiday passes, don't keep the candy sitting out. If you do, you're likely to grab a piece here and there whether or not you're truly craving sweets. If you're still tempted by the lure of an in-house candy stash, take it somewhere other people can enjoy it.

3. Keep count. If there were ever a day to keep a food journal, Halloween is that day! It's easy to keep going back for "just one more" fun-sized candy bar, but those calories add up fast. Don't lose sight of how much you're actually consuming.

4. Don't drastically cut calories earlier in the day in an attempt to counteract any excessive candy eating later on. That'll just set you up for a candy binge. Eat filling meals, and drink plenty of water. (If you're dehydrated, it's easy to mistake thirst for hunger.)

5. Make a little candy go far by using it in guilt-free recipes for decadent treats! Click here to get some recipes!

Lindsay Lohan Suspect in Sean 'Diddy' Accident

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was recently injured in a car crash in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. My unreliable sources tell me that speed demon Linday Lohan is a suspect in the Diddy case. Fans of Lindsay Lohan, and who isn’t, may recall that our girl Lindsay was just let off the hook from a separate auto incident where the actress was accused of hitting a man on Sept. 19 while driving a friend's car on her way to a New York hotel nightclub just after stealing jewelry from said friend’s apartment.

Speaking of stealing, Lindsay ‘Sticky Fingers’ Lohan is also in the news for allegedly stealing $15,000 worth of clothes from the set of ‘Scary Movie 5.’ Among the missing items are a Gucci purse, a Versace dress that says ‘Kick Me” on the back and a dozen pair of crotchless panties from Victoria’s Secret.

Sticky Fingers Lohan should be considered armed, well dressed and otherwise dangerously close of exposing her crotch. Should you happen to encounter Lindsay, please do not attempt to apprehend her by yourself. Instead, please call police immediately at 1-800-GETSTICKY.

Would you pay $350 for this?

I heard about this towards the end of last year, going into 2012.  It's a big deal in Thailand and areas around it. A way to keep the skin tighter and tone down the wrinkles. Well, know it's hitting the states.  A story out of San Francisco has 'Slapping sessions' for $350 to help make the skin more youthful looking.  I'm not sure I buy this, but it does peak the interest.

A Bangkok-born masseuse who goes by the name of Tata is hoping to storm San Francisco’s niche beauty market with a skin-firming procedure: slapping her customers in the face.

Bottom punching is becoming popular too. Punch the bottom to be tighter and rounder! Do you buy any of this?
