6:12 AM: Gas prices will get up to $4.00 a gallon by this spring, according to reports. iPads and Android tablets will go down in price in 2012, and so will GPS units. 3D TVs will drop in price quite a bit this year, and so will the price of car rentals. Home prices are currently down 3%, and home prices should keep going down or will at least stay the same. Airline tickets will get MORE expensive in the New Year, and flights to Europe will go up even more. Hard Drives for your computer will go up in price, as will the price of gold. Water is going to be more expensive this year, and you will see this on your water bill. Shipping prices will go up on January 22nd.

6:55 AM: This weekend Sandy got invited to a birthday party at The Thirsty Planet Brewing company and he loved it. He thinks it’s one of the coolest places in Austin, and even though he is not a microbrew guy, he liked the beer. It’s on 290 and Circle drive, just West of the Y in Oak Hill. They do tours on Satruday open to the public.

7:28 AM: Sandy’s song was Herb Alpert “This Guy’s in Love With You”. This sucks for Sandy, because if his mom had him 1 week earlier, his song would have been “Mrs. Robinson” by Simon and Garfunkel. JB’s song was The Boxtops “The Letter”
