6:00 AM: The Longhorns lost over the weekend to Missouri, and the Cowboys won against the Bills on Sunday. The UT Men’s basketball team opened up their season and won. The Susan G Komen race for the cure happened yesterday in Austin. Comic Con happened at the Convention Center over the weekend as well. Water restrictions are tightening up in Austin, and we’re now going from watering twice a week to only once a week.
6:15 AM: Fact or bull fact. Joe Paterno was born 3 eyars before Martin Luther King Jr. When Joe Paterno became the head coach of Penn State’s football team, 30 of today’s current college coaches were not even born yet.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Justin Timberlake went to the Marine Corp Ball this weekend, following up on accepting the date that a female Marine asked him to go on via YouTube. Starting today there is no longer any free 30 minute parking at ABIA. You can get free parking in the cell phone lot, but that’s it. There is a story out that Tom Cruise almost got Leonardo DiCaprio’s role in Titanic. Billy Crystal passed on the role of voicing Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story. Tom Selleck was originally offered the role of Indiana Jones.
6:40 AM: SNL took a risk this weekend and it paid off. Somehow they managed to make light of the Penn State scandal in a funny way! On their “Weekend Update” segment they had The Devil come on, and show that even the devil was disgusted and mad at what happened. It was pretty funny!
6:53 AM: 2 minute topic. Bruce and Kris Jenner recently bought their 16 year old daughter a $90,000 Range Rover. What are your thoughts on this? We didn’t see how anyone, no matter how rich could justify this. It’s stupid because they probably won’t appreciate it and could wreck or damage it. It’s even worse because of the message it sends to that 16 year old. They will never have any goals or anything to work for in life if they don’t have to work to get things like a $90,000 car!

7:05 AM: Second date update. Shayna and Josh met through a mutual friend and went on a coffee date. They had a lot of fun, and he asked her out on a dinner date. Shayna said on the dinner date they went to a Mexican restaurant, and he acted like a totally different person on that date. She is so confused why he was so cold towards her, and why she hasn’t heard back from him again. She called us to see if we could get to the bottom of this story.
7:10 AM: Josh’s side of the story was an interesting one. He says he is a vegetarian, and wanted to test her to see if she ordered right, and he said she failed. When she ordered beef tacos at the restaurant, he said he wanted to throw up. Josh says anyone who meets him should know he is a vegetarian because he has such an amazing body, and he did this to test Shayna.

7:45 AM: Sandy has bad luck with fast food drive thrus. He was going to Taco Cabana and the guy in front of him was too. The guy took forever to order, and then Sandy pulled up to the order and saw the man’s order was still on the screen. The man’s order was $76.00, which blew Sandy’s mind, and then they told the guy to pull forward and around the building to wait. He obviously has never been to a fast food drive thru before, because he pulled forward, but only enough to completely block Sandy from getting out. Sandy had to honk at the guy to get out, which startled the man.

8:12 AM : Headlines that don’t make the “4 things”. Police in England caught a bunch of crooks by telling them they had won a case of beer. They all showed up to collect their case of beer, and were arrested. Only 6% of people who try to quit smoking actually succeed in doing so. 69% of American smokers want to quit, but only 6% can do it.

8:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Porn star Sasha Grey read to elementary school kids last week in Compton, California and it caused a big uproar with the parents. Brad Pitt has decided when he turns 50 that he is done with acting, which happens in 3 years. 8:40 AM: Sandy is trying to get into shape, and asked JB about how to start running and get into shape. JB told him to run-walk-run around Town Lake to start. Alex said he’d go with Sandy, and Sandy immediately turned him down. Alex tells Sandy that he needs Alex if he is going to reach his fitness goals, but JB knows from experience that Alex will only hold Sandy back. He used to work out with JB and would make JB miserable by complaining, moaning, and bitching during their work outs.
