JB & Sandy's Recap Blog

12/6/11 Recap !

6:00 AM: Today an album of Amy Winehouse’s unreleased tracks will come out. The stand off at Brodie and Slaughter Lane lasted 3 hours yesterday morning. A planet has been found in the Goldilocks Zone that is similar to earth; they say it is consistently 72 degrees. It’s over 2 times the size of earth, however, and would be unsuitable for human life. Giulana Ransic will have a double mastectomy next week to try and fight her breast cancer.
6:15 AM: E Online says these are the top news stories of 2011; 10) Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s divorce, 9) Doug Stanhope Marrying a 16 year old, 8) Amy Winehouse passing away , 7) Kim Kardashian’s very short marriage,6) Scarlett Johansson’s phone hacked, 5) Conrad Murray convicted, 4) Arnold Schwarzenegger’s secret love child, 3) Harry Potter series ends, 2) Charlie Sheen’s meltdown, 1) Prince William marrying Kate Middleton.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Heisman candidates were announced last night and include; Monty Ball, Robert Griffin the 3rd, Andrew Luck, Tyran Matthews, and Trent Richardson. We got 2.5 inches of rain in Austin over the weekend, and Lake Travis went up 3/10th of a foot. First they banned beer, and now they are looking to charge people to float down the public river in New Braunfels. They are proposing a $5 fee per person to float the Comal. Rosie O’Donnell got engaged to her girlfriend recently.
6:42 AM: Today is Alex’s 34th birthday. He shares his birthday with Judd Apatow, Debbie Rowe, Peter Buck, and Britney O’Connell (the star of Thighs and Dolls, and Bringing up the Rear.)
7:00 AM: Coast to coast news. Right now we have a power hour going on for Bike For Kids. Please call in and donate whatever amount you can. 512-485-3797.
7:11 AM: Unknown poll. Are you already done with all of your Christmas shopping? 1/3 of Americans already are done with their shopping, and of those people 6% have the gifts wrapped already. Of our listeners that we polled, 1/5 of them are done with their shopping.
7:47 AM: Alex’s 34th birthday is today and JB and Sandy think it’s time for him to start having kids. JB had Raleigh when he was 35, and he HIGHLY recommends that Alex start now because the older he gets, the harder it is to keep up with kids.
8:00 AM: Coast to coast news in 60 seconds.
8:09 AM: Headlines. A study has found it takes 7 hours to prepare Christmas dinner in total, and it takes only 30 minutes and 44 seconds to eat it. Another study found that Alex’s long standing theory of “teacher butt” is a real thing.
8:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. There is a lottery to get tickets to sit in Jerry Sandusky’s trial. First they banned beer, and now they are looking to charge people to float down the public river in New Braunfels. They are proposing a $5 fee per person to float the Comal. 8:40 AM: Rusty is back on with us. We got some more offers for him. He got an offer to tend bar from 8-11 pm this Saturday night for a private party in Rob Roy. They will pay him $30 an hour plus tips. He turned that down because he needs to talk on the bar, and people don’t want their drinks by feet. He got an offer to sit in Santa’s sleigh at their home in Georgetown and wave at the neighbors who walk by for $200. He turned that down because it’s outside. Sandy lost it on Rusty, and gave him a good tongue lashing for wasting our time and our listener’s time. He is lazy, inconsiderate, and rude.
9:00 AM: Coast to coast news in 60 seconds.
9:15 AM: Alex’s 34th birthday is today and JB and Sandy think it’s time for him to start having kids. JB had Raleigh when he was 35, and he HIGHLY recommends that Alex start now because the older he gets, the harder it is to keep up with kids.

Jobs for Rusty
I would be more than happy to wrap presents for $150. I've been picking up as much work as possible this holiday season and I still can't pay the rent! I wish someone would set me up with leads like that!!!
