He was given 1 week to play in the NBA, and was going to be cut. He was sleeping on his brother’s couch, and then in the week that he played, he blew everyone out of the water with his amazing skills. He is now the biggest story in sports. A charter school in Chicago charges kids money for things like being late to class, violating dress code, and chewing gum. So far they have made $20,000, and use it to pay the teachers who have to stay late to administer detention for these students. An elderly couple in a retirement community is getting married, but they can’t speak the same language. Could you do it?

The least expensive place to live in the world is Karachi Pakistan. Auto theft this year is up, and more large trucks are being stolen than ever before. 8:07 AM: Headlines that don’t make the 4 things. Dog groomers at Petco in Hawaii cut off the tip of a dog’s tail and gave it back to the owner without telling them. The owner quickly knew because the tail was still bleeding. That dog owner’s friend took her dog to the same Petco and they cut off her dog’s ear and tried to glue it back on. 10% of Words with Friends players ended up hooking up with someone because of Words with Friends.
8:24 AM: Anonymous confessions. Who talks on the phone while pooping all the time? Who helped their uncle light a car on fire because his ex wife won it in the divorce? Who broke up their sibling’s relationship on purpose? Who ate an entire bag of communion wafers? Who would walk down the bad part of town when they were kids to see if a hooker would grab their “junk” for free?
