6:00 AM: The audio has been released of the new version of “We Are The World” has been released, as well as a new version of “Everybody Hurts”, which is produced by Simon Cowell. 25 years ago then they did the original version of “We Are the World”, the odd person in the bunch was Dan Akroyd. This year somehow Vince Vaughan made it into the mix, which baffles us. Somehow Miley Cyrus managed to get in on both songs.
6:15 AM: Unknown poll of stay at home moms. How many hours of free time do you have each day? Austin moms on average say they have about 4-7 hours of free time a week. The national poll of stay at home moms said that they have on average 30-40 hours of free time a week. We wonder who these women are, and do they have nannies? We think there is no way that statistic can be accurate.
6:30 AM: Four things you need to know with Sara. Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor who was connected with Michael Jackson prior to his death, hasn’t even been charged yet, but is expected to surrender himself to authorities this week. The 21 year old Austin woman who fatally hit and run a 12 year old girl in Round Rock last week has turned herself in to police. The Cactus Café on the UT campus may be saved by alumni. Apparently the Texas Exes are going to attempt to do their part to save the venue. There is an iPhone app called “iLeslie” for $1.99, which features Austin’s Leslie Cochoran. We can’t figure out the purpose of this application, but are concerned that none of the money will go to him.
6:45 AM: We found a video of the U.S. troops attempting to train the Afghani troops some basic skills to help them defend their country. The video if of them trying to learn how to do jumping jacks, and the men have absolutely no clue how to do a jumping jack. It’s hilarious, and you can go see the video at JB’s blog. Then Sara and Alex demonstrate their jumping jack skills for us and for all of the KEYE viewers.
7:00 AM: We play some clips from the new version of “We Are the World”
7:20 AM: We talk to a listener named Tom whose 15 year old daughter Alex wants a very extravagant party for her “Sweet 16”. She has planned out all of her desires, and on paper it’s looking to cost the parents $175,000. Tom’s wife is totally ok with it and thinks that they do need to go ahead with Alex’s plans, and Tom thinks her list of demands are ridiculous. She wants Dj Pauly D to DJ her party, Colt McCoy to attend the party, for Perry’s restaurant to cater to event, to get her hair and makeup done and have professional photos taken and more. We think it’s a crazy idea, and he needs to give her a reality check.

The cast of The Jersey Shore will be guests of Jay Leno’s on his third episode once he returns back to his old time slot.
7:45 AM: Gisele Bundchen has been quoted as saying that she experience no pain whatsoever during the water birth of her child. We find that incredibly hard to imagine, and we ask our listeners to call in and say if they experience no pain. We got zero calls saying they had no pain, and LOTS of calls from women saying that Gisele was full of it.
8:00 AM: Sandy’s headlines that didn’t make Sara’s new break. A study has come out saying that men can increase their sex drive by 69% if they lay out in the sun for an hour. Another study has said that it’s only possible to be friends with 35% of your “friends” on facebook.
8:15 AM: Sara’s 2 minute American Idol recap. Last night the auditions were in Denver, and Victoria Beckham was the guest judge. The next round of shows will be in Hollywood!
8:30 AM: Four things you need to know with Sara. There was a study in the 90’s that linked autism to vaccinations, and they have now retracted that study and the findings that they reported.
9:00 AM: There is a story out now saying that Taylor Swift’s parents told her she couldn’t date John Mayer. We wondered if at 20 she is too old for her parents to try and control who she is dating. We took lots of calls from listeners who all thought her parents were totally right to do what they did, and you’re never too old for your parents to stop wanting to approve of who you’re dating.
9:15 AM: JB’s article in Austin Fit magazine this month is about why you shouldn’t ever work out with your spouse or significant other. The magazine is free and you can find it all over town if you want to check out his article.
9:30 AM: Four things you need to know with Sara. We will soon be able to see behind the scenes of The Oprah Show on TV. We are dying to know what kind of food Oprah has for her guests in the green room! The cast of The Jersey Shore will be guests of Jay Leno’s on his third episode once he returns back to his old time slot.

9:50 AM: We talk to Bobby Hebert, who is a very well known sportscaster and former athlete. He will be in Miami for the Super Bowl on Sunday, but before he went, he fulfilled a promise which required him to wear a dress while walking through the French Quarter and down Bourbon Street.
