6:11 AM: Alex stumbled across the Mexican American Cultural Center this weekend by accident, and was blown away by it. It’s on Rainey Street, just southwest of Cesar Chavez and I-35. He had no idea it was there and feels stupid for not knowing about it. Sara and Jb were both familiar with it, but Cass and Sandy weren’t.
6:25 AM: Oprah did the first interview with Bobby Christina, who is Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter. She said she didn’t realize that her mom was such a big star until the funeral. She also said she feels her mom’s presence all the time, and knows she is with her.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Steven Tyler was on 60 Minutes last night talking about how much he hates his band members. Dennis Quaid is getting a divorce from his wife Kimberly. Bobbi Christina is getting her last name changed from Brown to Houston in honor of her mom. A Delta flight from San Antonio to Atlanta was transporting some penguins and they decided to let them out of their crate to walk down the aisle and entertain the passengers.
6:40 AM: What are you thinking? Cass is going to Florida tomorrow and is worried she is going to get very sunburned. Sara is having regrets over leaving a tip for a server who gave her very bad service at a restaurant yesterday. Alex is thinking about the NCAA bracket and what to do this year. Sandy is wondering what he can do Wednesday and Thursday to entertain his daughter. JB is ready to see lots of oversized stuffed animals in his house as Raleigh is going to the Austin Rodeo today.

7:20 AM: Today’s topics. A toddler threw a tantrum on a flight from the Turks and Caicos to Boston, and the family was kicked off the flight. They ended up having to spend an extra $2,000 to get home. A woman had a 13 pound, 14 ounce baby via c-section recently. McDonalds is taking the small fry off the dollar menu and replacing it with cookies and ice cream.

JB went to a free Ghostland Observatory show put on by Sara’s brother and also went to a “hackathon” at Hotel St. Cecilia where developers had 6 hours to create an app from scratch,

Austin has been named a great city to retire in by Yahoo. This surprised us because the cost of living her isn’t low. A man in Tacoma Washington is married to 2 women and was outed by Facebook. One of his wives was using the “people you may know” feature and Facebook suggested she friend his other wife.
