I just drove home from the gym and listened to your show. i really liked that you played a few songs from europe. i was born and raised in germany and do love me some deichkind. the translation of the song was incorrect. leider geil does not mean what you guys thought. translating the the term geil into what the online translator did, is rather an old fashion thing. geil in slang and means cool, awesome, something to that effect. only my grandmother scolded me for considering something "geil" (the adult film industry however still uses this term for the old fashion meaning of it). the song is about things that aren't great like destroying the environment with our cars and their fumes, however a nice ride is... unfortunately cool. etc. there's many more artists that are really good, that come from germany. my favorite is xavier naidoo, he even has a few songs (sometimes remakes) that are in english and i don't know why he's not known here. check it out:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIeiZUuEGIo&feature=related
