I had the pleasure of being a part of 'A Day To Shine' Saturday night on the Four Seasons. I got to work the catwalk, without falling down. (Phew). This event helped raise money and awareness for the 'National Dating Abuse Helpline'. It's a national service whose headquarters is right here in ATX! This helpline helps teens and young adults who are in an abusive relationship. They won't talk about it with their family and friends, this helpline gives them an outlet to chat about their problems with a trained peer, who can guide them and help them. It really is a Great service that is available. Lots of Great resources and info onwww.loveisrespect.org
The fashion show included lots of wonderful people like Darrell Royal's wife Edith and Rachel McCoy- Colt's wife! Hook'em! David-Coleman 'The Dating Doctor' spoke too. He was one of the best speakers I have heard in a very long time! Check him out here!
