Amy's Ice Creams has been a local institution since the '80s. Amy's features seven standard flavors, a variety of mix-in options, and dozens of rotating flavors including Cop Stop (coffee ice cream with donuts) and the Tito's-infused The Dude. On National Ice Cream Day, Amy's will give a free scoop of ice cream to any child 12 and under who recites the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Ice Cream Social, located at a food trailer park on 415 Jessie Street, is a newcomer offering ice cream flavors such as Matcha Green Tea with Orange Blossom and Roasted Strawberry Cheesecake. Additionally, they have an impressive popsicle selection with flavors such as Thai Iced Tea and Mojito.
Lick Honest Ice Creams -2032 S. Lamar- was runner-up in this year's Austin Chronicle Restaurant Poll for best ice cream....Flavors such as Honeyed Peaches with Rosemary, Mexican Marigold with Blueberry Swirl, and Roasted Beets and Fresh Mint.
