Inspired by Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern on The Travel Channel...I have decided to check out as many ethnic restaurants/stores around Austin as I can!

I LOVE Indian food...and I am addicted to this place. The cool thing about Bombay Express is they offer something a little different than the "normal" Indian restaurant in Austin. Instead of currys, naan, and saag paneer Bombay Express is more about authentic home cooking...and common items you will find on every street corner in India. In addition to the menu, the owner also cooks a daily special meal. Basically you could eat at Bombay Express every day...and have something different!
***as a side note....Bombay Express catered my friends wedding...and it was AWESOME!
Papdi Chaat: A scrumptious combination of chick peas, potatoes, fresh herbs and spices, served in crispy shells laced with yogurt and topped with a sweet and a spicy sauce.
