Ellen DeGeneres was nice enough last week to present a history lesson.
An important one, too, for anyone who's had a passing interest in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
As a cover girl herself, Ellen knows a little bit about the business, so when she talks, you know she's talking from experience and knowledge.
Check it out.
It might just be enough to melt some of that frozen stuff outside - and if you're like three-quarters of the country, you've got frozen stuff outside!
Duncan Keith is a defenseman for the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League.
He's supposed to be tough. That's his job.
But he showed his soft side when he learned that Cammy - a youngster born without the ability to talk or walk - wanted one thing: to score a goal, on the ice, with Duncan's help.
He made it happen. And it will melt your heart.
Mikey Bolts is an impressionist with an impressive array of cartoon voices in his arsenal.
He's done versions of "All About That Bass" and "Happy."
And now, he's taking on "Uptown Funk" and doing it in the voices of stars - with a couple of voices tossed in from Family Guy and American Dad . King of the Hill
Very nicely done, and a good way to kick off your weekend.
Looks like there's something in the water in Paris... could it be peroxide, perchance?
Both Jared Leto and Kim Kardashian showed up in France this week, and both of them were sporting new blond hairdos.
For Kim, it's not much of a change. Still pretty obvious it's here, just with a different color on top.
For Jared, it's a huge change.
First off, his trademark shoulder-length brunette hair is gone.
As is his beard, which was also almost a trademark.
His change makes him virtually unidentifiable.
Except that in these new pictures (that's Jared on the left), he looks like he and Kim might have been separated at birth.
What do you think? A long-lost Kardashian?
No, that would just be cruel...
Vince Wilfork is a big part of the defensive line of the New England Patriots. Heck, he's a big part of the Patriots, period.
In his 11-year career with them, he's picked up two Super Bowl rings.
On Tuesday, he learned that the Patriots would not be picking up the option on his contract.
So that means he's most likely not going to be a Patriot any longer.
He's still got some game in him, he says, so he could end up playing somewhere else.
But yesterday, he showed what a class guy he is by posting this Tweet.
And you can bet, that is that about that...
Did you ever watch a TV drama and think, "That's pretty funny."
So why not add a laugh track and some punchy music and see how it goes?
That's exactly what happens when you add -like laughs and music to the action of Seinfeld . The Walking Dead
I guess this isn't necessarily a new concept - Google "Walking Dead Seinfeld," and you'll get a handful of matches.
But, this is the latest entry, and it's pretty funny...
To celebrate his 21st birthday - which happened on Sunday, what did you get him? - Justin Bieber decided to set himself up for a Comedy Central roast.
He may have bitten off more than he can chew here.
Check out the latest promo for the March 30 broadcast - a spoof of the Biebs' Calvin Klein ad, which hasn't been spoofed enough, apparently.
Roastmaster Jeff Ross - who you can beliebe is Justin's worst nightmare - puts on a blond wig like the model in the real ad, and imitates her movements.
Well, sort of.
It's kind of funny seeing how uneasy Justin looks - and it doesn't look like he's acting...
Harrison Ford - Han Solo of Star Wars fame and Indiana Jones of Indiana Jones fame - crashed his vintage small plane yesterday on a golf course in Venice, California.
A couple of doctors tended to him until emergency crews arrived and transported him to the hospital.
Witnesses say that he had cuts on his head, but was in stable condition. Later, his son tweeted from the hospital that his dad was "battered" but okay.
TMZ.com has the brief conversation between Harrison and the Santa Monica air traffic controller. You can hear Harrison saying he had engine failure, requesting "immediate return"... Listen to it at the bottom of the page.
Click here for TMZ's story, the picture of the plane and more.
He's got a lot of experience flying planes, helicopters and of course, the Millenium Falcon. He's crashed before too.
Here's hoping he's okay!
Sharon Osbourne - mama to Kelly, wife to Ozzy, and host at - is not known for being quiet, shy and reclusive. The Talk
She's also a well-known and vocal opponent of real fur.
So she didn't pull any punches in a recent interview with Closer magazine where she called Kim Kardashian out.
Not only for wearing fur, but for accessorizing her 20-month-old daughter - North West - in fur and other outfits that aren't appropriate for a toddler.
On the subject of fur, it makes Sharon "physically sick" and she says that "wearing it is a very dated way of showing everyone how rich you are."
She says that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have asked the K-Klan to stop wearing fur.
And on the subject of little North, Sharon points out that she's not "an accessory - she shouldn't be wearing ugly couture clothes."
I wonder if Kim will fire back about Sharon's hair...
Ian McKellen - Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings movies and Magneto from the X-Men movies - is setting his sights on a slightly less active character in his next film.
In Mr. Holmes, he plays the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes in his golden years.
Retired for 30 years and living quietly in the English countryside, Holmes gets distracted by an unsolved case, and is forced to remember why he retired three decades earlier.
It looks very interesting - a Holmes we've never seen.
Due out in theaters this summer... Check out the trailer.
