When I go to a coffeeshop, I see lots of people studying or working on creative things. I should have thought to do this when I went to college. I hated studying in the library, because it was just way to abnormally quiet. I thought maybe it was just me, but from the site I ran into, to quiet can keep the creative juices from flowing. How to get the juices flowing? Have you heard of Coffitivity?
-It's pretty hard to be creative in a quiet space.
-A loud workplace can be frustrating and distracting.
-The mix of calm and commotion in an environment like a coffee house is proven to be just what you need to get those creative juices flowing.
If you can't get to a coffeeshop right now to be creative, this can bring it to you. The study suggests you work to coffeehouse noise when you need to be creative. Put some earplugs in and see if this helps. If not, you may have to get to a coffeehouse, and add some caffiene to the mix. Happy M-Day!
