Ted & I had a dinner date night at Gumbo's at Shops Parkway in Bee Cave. The chicken gumbo and the dirty rice were very tasty. Next time I'll have to save room for the Chocolate Bread Pudding!!

Are you planning on spending some $$ this Valentine's day! My Honey Ted and I usually just hang out and cook a meal together. Maybe exchange cards/even make each other one! We don't normally do a lot of expensive gifts for V-Day, cause we are usually trying to recover from the Christmas/Holiday bills. Love should have no price tag... I know jewelry and all those things are nice, but in the end they really can't by Love... Maybe happiness.. JK! LOL...

Lady GaGatweeted this photo/sketch of what her stage for the 'Born This Way Ball' 2012/13 tour set up will be! Even includes a 'Monster Pit' where some folks in the 'MP' will get to go backstage to say Hey to Lady G! She says those seats won't be more expensive than the other Great seats! Very Cool!
The Bacon Shake, available in limited-edition supply, contains vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, a maraschino cherry and "bacon-flavored syrup." Would you try it? I'm skeptical of the Bacon flavored syrup, but I guess you can't knock it until you've tried it! I suppose you could call it a 'Vegetarian Shake' since it's just BAcon flavored.
I'm thinking a chocolate bacon shake might be better? HHHMMM...

I'm Loving the New MIX music from Jessi J.! She so Rocks! Some peeps felt that Kelly Clarkson sang the flawless version of the national anthem like Jessi J. I think she did it like Kelly, but you know what, there's nothing wrong singing like Jessie J either! I ran across a story about Queen Elizabeth's 60th Anniversary on the Thrown concert on June 4th! Besides Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John... Prince Willima and Prince Harry want Adele on the line up ... Jessie J. is also part of the Big Bash ! Think she'll send Domino out to Queen E! Here's another 'Look who caught my eye because of the name of the Band' that will be one of the 2000 plus during the SXSW. I checked out 'T' today and this group's name grabbed my attention. So I thought they could also grab the ears too!

It's funny to find out I have something in common with a supermodel! We both have potty mouths during/after a game when our teams are losing/lost! One of the reasons I don't watch Da Bears play in public to much. I have no idea where some of the words that fly out of my mouth come from. I've even surprised my honey Ted at times!
SXSW will be in ATX in almost a month (3/9-3/18)! There will be over 2000 bands performning for the music part of the fest! So many bands with so many interesting names. Today I hit up the letter P, and my eyes caught 'Pink Nasty', which also contains 'Black Nasty'. PN is the stage name of Sara Beck. She's from Wichita, KS, but calls ATX her home now! Black Nasty is her brother, a rapper who performs with her. You can catch PN during SXSW Fest as well as many other bands/artist w/ interesting names!
I know Clint Eastwood, naked M&Msand baby Doritos commercials were Big Favs... as well as The Voice promo w/ Betty White (my 2nd Fav). My all time Fav Big Game commercial was the BL Rescue Dog 'Here we Go'! So cute and great at parties!

Japanese Gum is an experimental psychedelic Italian duo originally from Genova born in the spring of 2005.

With over 2,000 bands playing at SXSW Fest, who to go see and when can be tough. Many of these bands have interesting names. I thought I would showcase a band by name that caught my eye when I checked out the line up.
Lady GaGa's parents opening a new Italian restaurant in the Upper West Side (NY). 'Joanne Trattoria' , a family style restaurant, named after her Aunt Joanne, who passed away from Lupus at the age of 19! JT's menu has many Lady G specialities on it , as well as recipes from her dad Joseph and her grandma! The decor looks nothing like Lady G! It's got to be better than the Italian place Ted & I ate at a couple of years ago during our short trip to NYC! So bad I can't remember the name, but we had to head to the bakery down the street to fill up on Bagels and Black & White cookies! YUM! Click here to find out more!

HHMMM.. of course the shopping tick in my brain wants to see what it is all about. I may have to check it out this weekend. What do you think about it?
ATX 's own Matthew Sweet is bringing it again tonight on 'Face Off 2' on the Syfy channel. A competition reality show finding the Best Special Effects Artist! He's won the past 2 challenges. Tonight's challenge is the 1st solo one, Night Terrors. Create the ultimate horror character. Matthew shouldn't have any problems with this since he is the creator/mastermind behind 'Mr Creep'! Wonder if Mr. Creep will be tonight's inspiration.
