SXSW Fest kicks off March 9 - March 18th! There will be over 2,000 bands playing. You will run across some interesting names of groups. This group caught my eye after I randomly click the letter J for the list of J bands..
Japanese Gum: I wasn't thinking Italian with this band name....
Japanese Gum is an experimental psychedelic Italian duo originally from Genova born in the spring of 2005.
The band consists now of Davide Cedolin, Paolo Tortora, with some live collaborators and performers. Click for more

She is 5'3", 175 lbs, was last seen wearing black jeans, grey hoodie, and black vans shoes. She did ride the bus however the school reports she didn't attend any classes on 2/1/12. It's possible she is with someone named Alex who is 18. If you see her or know of her whereabouts, please contact us or the Travis county sheriff dept. With over 2,000 bands playing at SXSW Fest, who to go see and when can be tough. Many of these bands have interesting names. I thought I would showcase a band by name that caught my eye when I checked out the line up.
Lady GaGa's parents opening a new Italian restaurant in the Upper West Side (NY). 'Joanne Trattoria' , a family style restaurant, named after her Aunt Joanne, who passed away from Lupus at the age of 19! JT's menu has many Lady G specialities on it , as well as recipes from her dad Joseph and her grandma! The decor looks nothing like Lady G! It's got to be better than the Italian place Ted & I ate at a couple of years ago during our short trip to NYC! So bad I can't remember the name, but we had to head to the bakery down the street to fill up on Bagels and Black & White cookies! YUM! Click here to find out more!
I've been hearing the Fair & Square commercials from JC Penny! Peeps screaming NO on the TV because they lost out on a deal! Well, today JC Penny's has found a solution to Sales! Fair & Square! HHMMM.. of course the shopping tick in my brain wants to see what it is all about. I may have to check it out this weekend. What do you think about it?
ATX 's own Matthew Sweet is bringing it again tonight on 'Face Off 2' on the Syfy channel. A competition reality show finding the Best Special Effects Artist! He's won the past 2 challenges. Tonight's challenge is the 1st solo one, Night Terrors. Create the ultimate horror character. Matthew shouldn't have any problems with this since he is the creator/mastermind behind 'Mr Creep'! Wonder if Mr. Creep will be tonight's inspiration.
