Two days until Turkey Day.. or I should say Thanksgiving, since I'm not a Turkey Fan, so I don't cook those. Turkeys are safe. I'm not a fan of the taste. I'm not a huge meat eater, but I enjoy egg whites, chicken and some fish. But I also like Vegan dishes too. I've been having yummy fun with a new site I was turned on to... www.CookingPlanIt.com. It sets you up with lots of meal choices with recipes that are chef tested. You can choice their meal, or create your own with the tons of yummy choices they have. You'll get a grocery list of things to get for the servings you plan to make, a prep list is created so ou are organized before you even start cooking. Once it's time to cook, you get step by step directions so everything in your meal is done at the same time. Check out the video of the fun My Honey Ted and I had making 'Breakfast for Dinner'. I created the dinner with CPI's French Toast (minus the gingered glazed peaches), Cranberry Sauce and Potato Pancakes. YUMMY!! May not be as pretty as their's, but it certainly was YUMMY! The French bread recipe was much better than most I've tried. It had a sweetness to it, but not too sweet! Went great w/ my maple syrup! :)

I decided to modify the French Toast recipe a bit. Skip the peaches and make the classic Cranberry Sauce. It sounded yummy, and since the holidays are approaching, it works! You'll see the photo of the meal has how much time it takes to prep/cook and total time it takes for the entire meal. Once I start cooking CPI will give me step by step directions on what to do, so the whole meal is done at the same time. Breakfast for Dinner will be warm and yummy. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ted and I tried out WWW.COOKINGPLANIT.COM for the first time. I was turned on to this site by my co-worker Jordan. Since I enjoy cooking, I checked it out and then set myself up with a 'FREE' account. By having an account, the meals I choose will be saved, grocery lists created, and everything broken up step by step to cook the meal so each dish will be done at the same time to serve and eat. I'm not very good with time management in my kitchen, and organization could be better. Cooking Plan It. com takes care of all of that.

I recently discovered this website. I heard about it from my co-bud Jordan. He tried it out and LOVES IT! It doesn't matter what level of cooking expertise you have, it has yummies for everyone. When I cruised through the site, it was really easy to go through.
