February 5th- The Big Game... no one knows which teams will play! Probably not my Bears, since they keep losing now. It doesn't look like the Cowboys might make it either, we will have to see. But check out who will be there..
Her new film 'W.E.,' which she wrote, directed and produced, opens for a limited one-week release in Los Angeles on December 9 and will open nationally on February 3 2012, two days before Super Bowl XLVI.
She's bringing in a creative team from Cirque du Soleil, choreographer Jamie KingKing. He has served as Madonna's creative director for the last 13 years, and they've worked together on four tours including 2008's 'Sticky & Sweet' and her 2006 record-breaking 'Confessions' world tour. King also wrote and directed the critically acclaimed Cirque du Soleil 'Michael Jackson IMMORTAL Tour' earlier this year, and he directed Rihanna's 'Loud' Tour and Britney Spears' 'Femme Fatale' Tour.
In July 2011, 'Variety' named King "Variety's Billion Dollar Tour Director", acknowledging his vast combined tours' box office tally, which is nearing $2 billion in ticket sales.
The Bridgestone-sponsored halftime show is an NFL Network production. It will be executive produced by Ricky Kirshner and directed by Hamish Hamilton. Catch what's up with Madonna's projects here!
Well, nothing from the Cowboy camp right now. The 'BIG GAME' won't be in their future, if they can't finish a game. But, the word is Madonna will be the halftime entertainment...Â
The Super Bowl and its halftime show will be televised live on NBC on February 5th, 2012. Stay tuned for further comments from Madonna and/or the NFL as the news emerges.

Garrett Gilbert is out for the season due to a right shoulder injury that he had successful surgery on yesterday. He should be ready after healing and rehab for next season. He will be on the sidelines as much as he can helping out McCoy & Ash. They all have a game day off this weekend with a bye, but they will prepare to meet up with Iowa State in Ames, IA on Saturday Oct 1st.
I'm a very sad Bears fan today to discover the news about Brian Urlacher's mom passing away unexpectedly. He's left the team for now to be with his family. I understand how it is to  lose your mom in an unexpected way. You will never get over it, but able to deal with it better each day.
âMy first priority right now is to be with my family as we mourn her loss and make the arrangements to lay her to rest,â Urlacher said in a statement released by the Bears. âThis is a very difficult and emotional time for us and I sincerely ask that you respect our privacy. Thank you.â
Urlacher has been excused from the team to be with his family.
Verizon has announced it will carry the ESPN-backed network for its FiOS TV subscribers. The 24-hour channel dedicated to University of Texas sports launches Friday and will broadcast the Longhorns' first game against Rice on Sept. 3.
ESPN and Texas announced a $300 million, 20-year deal for the network in January.
The Verizon distribution deal puts the network within reach of about 4 million viewers nationally. Verizon officials say it will eventually also be available to FiOS TV subscribers online, on tablets and smartphones.
Texas and ESPN have not yet announced any major cable or satellite carriers for the network.(KEYE)

1.)Don't Make it Public
If script-writers are to be believed, every wedding proposal takes place in front of a thousand people. But unless she's said she wants a splashy proposal, make it intimate and personal thing. Most brides would prefer to have that magical moment be just the two of you â after all, you've got the rest of your lives to tell other people about your marriage but you've only got one engagement moment.
2.)Don't Hide the Engagement Ring in Food
I hate to say it, (as I'm sure there are some readers who were planning to do just this) but hiding the engagement ring in food is a tired idea. It's been in a thousand movies and TV shows, and you won't win any points for creativity. Even worse, you may end your romantic proposal with a trip to the emergency room or the dentist.
3.)Don't Propose at a Sports Game
Games are loud and chaotic events. Even if she is the biggest sports fan you ever knew, the arena doesn't allow you to have any of the reflection and focus that making such a momentous decision deserves.
4.)Don't Do it in Front of Her Family
While your families will merge with your wedding, it is not their decision to do so. Proposals in front of family have an added level of stress that you don't need. Take this moment to be just the two of you; don't worry, you can call everyone immediately afterward.
5.)Don't Make it Too Complicated
While it's good to be creative with your proposal, it is important to keep the focus on what's important: the proposal itself. If you are worrying about whether or not the limousine will get to the balloon ride in time, you're worrying about the wrong thing.
6.)Don't Propose Too Early in the Relationship
When you're in the first flush of love, it's hard not to do impetuous and foolish things. Yet waiting until your relationship is stable will only strengthen your marriage. Make sure you really know each other, and what each other wants from a marriage before you commit to it for the rest of your lives.
7.)Don't Expect Her to Say Yes Immediately
You're asking someone to spend the rest of their life with you â an extremely important decision. Just because you've asked, doesn't mean she is ready to say yes. If your sweetheart says maybe, take it in stride and give her some time to consider the proposal. After all, you wouldnât want this amazing person to marry every Tom, Dick and Harry who asked her, would you?

Last night, I had my Cornhusker shirt on to show support
for the team that I grew up watching Football ... Missouri
a tough competitor... They haven't beat Missouri on their turf since
2001...Of course the rain didn't help.... so of course in between
watching 'Grey's Anatomy'.. I'd flip back & forth to catch the game...
realizing that the Cornhuskers were sucking... I know the Rain didn't
help any... both teams having problems...Wait..I need to say the Big Red Offense was 'Sucking'... Big D was really doing their part, especially how long they had been on the field.. Anyway, I made a comment to Ted that maybe I need to take the shirt off, maybe that would help.. So I walked away from the TV, before I said even more things that would
make 'Huey' blush... Changed my shirt, washed my face... was getting ready for bed... When Ted asked me..hey you want to see the score, I was like..probably not.. All of a Sudden.. 20-12.. Cornhuskers got 3 Touchdowns in about 3 minutes....
ended up winning 27-12...
