Another birth control pill recall due to faulty packaging, and because of a packaging error that could lead to incorrect dosing and expose women to unintended pregnancies.
Glenmark Generics Inc. said the seven lots of birth control pillpackets, sold as Norgestimate and Ethinyl Estradiol, do not pose any immediatehealth risks, but that women using these oral contraceptives should immediatelyswitch to another form of birth control.
Glenmark did not specify how many pills were affected by therecall. The lot numbers on the packets are: 04110101, 04110106, 04110107,04110114, 04110124, 04110129 and 04110134.
The pills involved in the latest recall were sent to wholesalersand retail pharmacies nationwide between Sept. 21, 2011 and Dec. 30, 2011.Glenmark said it discovered the packaging problem after a customer complained that one of her blister packs had the pills packaged in reverse order.
Earlier this month, Pfizer Inc. recalled 1 million packets of birth control pills for similar reasons. At the time, the company said it had discovered that some blister packs of Lo/Ovral and generic Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol had packaging that could contain either too many or too few active pills and that the pills may be out of sequence. The expiration dates on those recalledpackets range between July 31, 2013 and March 31, 2014.

Ted sent me this recipe he ran across for Butterfinger Cupcakes. My mouth started watering when I looked at the picture. I foresee a future baking time coming and a few extra workouts. From the picture, totally worth it!!
Prepare cupcakes according to directions on cake mix package. Let cupcakes cool completely.
Using a sharp knife, cut a circle out on top of the cupcake. Make your cut go about halfway into the cupcake. Remove the cake chunk and fill the hole with fudge frosting (I used two spoons to scoop the frosting into the hole). Invert the cupcake chunk on top of the fudge frosting -- you want the extra cake to be sticking up.
Prepare the buttercream frosting: Mix together all the ingredients and beat on medium for three minutes, until fluffy. Transfer frosting into a piping bag and pipe frosting on top of the cupcakes, covering the cake chunk. Let the frosting set up for 30 minutes.
While the frosting is setting up, crush the Butterfingers in the food processor until completely pulverized.
Combine chocolate chips and oil in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Heat on high for one minute. Stir and continue to heat at 30 second intervals until completely melted. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before using. (You might want to do this in two batches so the chocolate doesn't harden while you dip the cupcakes.)
Dip the frosted cupcakes into the chocolate -- I used a spoon to hold the frosting into place to make sure it didn't fall off the cupcake. Immediately coat the cupcake with the pulverized Butterfingers -- just smash it all over the chocolate. Repeat until all cupcakes are dipped and covered.
Refrigerate approximately 1 hour to allow the chocolate to set up.

Whether you agree or not about Whitney's funeral being televised/live streaming video. Kevin Costner had one of the most heart felt memorials that brought tears to just about everyone's eyes. Ted & I both got teary eyed. What he talked about knowing Whitney and their relationship during her life touched on many issues that most of us can relate too. When you have some time, check out the video. You might want to have a tissue handy.
Leslie is leaving ATX for a small town in Oak Creek, CO. He said it's a place where he is loved & respected! I thought ATX had a lot of Love for Leslie. I guess not enough! I can remember when I first moved to ATX little over 6 years ago. Nobody told me about Leslie. My first meeting with him was during SXSW Fest time on downtown 6th street. I was in a little gift shop and I noticed a whole bunch of peeps were taking pictures with this guy who had on a belly showing tight tank top and thong underwear over tights. Of course I did a double take, like who is this? I found out.. LESLIE. I gues it was one of his more tame outfits during that time. (of course the photo from the story is really tame for him)

Only months ago, Seth Casteel struggled to pay his bills after he splurged on a waterproof camera case, making it possible for him to take these pictures. Now, it seems like the purchase has paid off.
An album of photographs from his underwater dogs series that were posted to Facebook have garnered nearly 30,000 "likes" and have been shared almost 22,000 times. His website, which is typically handles around 200 visitors a day, is now overloaded with more than 100,000 daily visitors.
In addition to orders for prints, Casteel said he's received nearly a thousand inquiries for private client shoots from all over the world.

I didn't have pizza with my proposal... My proposal from Ted was on St. Pete Beach, Florida, after driving around with friends. Ted was trying to find the perfect beach area to propose. He almost did it on 'Redneck Beach', but he decided to wait and see if we ended up somewhere different. Good Call on his part.. LOL!!! He asked me if I wanted to walk on the beach with him, which I looked at him strange, because he's not a big fan of that. Once he got to an area where we were alone. He got down on 1 knee and asked if I would marry him. My 1st answer ...'Are you serious?' Okay, that seems wrong at first, but here's the back story. We had been together, for the past 9 years, and I knew he wasn't big on marriage. I didn't care either way. So when he did the one knee thing and popped the question with out passing out, I was shocked! I said 'Are you Serious?'.. He said 'YES'.. so I said 'YES'.. 10 1/2 years ago (18 1/2 since we met) ... We're still each others' Valentine and Rock'n it!

Even includes a 'Monster Pit' where some folks in the 'MP' will get to go backstage to say Hey to Lady G! She says those seats won't be more expensive than the other Great seats! Very Cool!
The Bacon Shake, available in limited-edition supply, contains vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, a maraschino cherry and "bacon-flavored syrup." Would you try it? I'm skeptical of the Bacon flavored syrup, but I guess you can't knock it until you've tried it! I suppose you could call it a 'Vegetarian Shake' since it's just BAcon flavored.
I'm thinking a chocolate bacon shake might be better? HHHMMM...

SXSW will be in ATX in almost a month (3/9-3/18)! There will be over 2000 bands performning for the music part of the fest! So many bands with so many interesting names. Today I hit up the letter P, and my eyes caught 'Pink Nasty', which also contains 'Black Nasty'. PN is the stage name of Sara Beck. She's from Wichita, KS, but calls ATX her home now! Black Nasty is her brother, a rapper who performs with her. You can catch PN during SXSW Fest as well as many other bands/artist w/ interesting names!
I know Clint Eastwood, naked M&Msand baby Doritos commercials were Big Favs... as well as The Voice promo w/ Betty White (my 2nd Fav). My all time Fav Big Game commercial was the BL Rescue Dog 'Here we Go'! So cute and great at parties!

Lady GaGa's parents opening a new Italian restaurant in the Upper West Side (NY). 'Joanne Trattoria' , a family style restaurant, named after her Aunt Joanne, who passed away from Lupus at the age of 19! JT's menu has many Lady G specialities on it , as well as recipes from her dad Joseph and her grandma! The decor looks nothing like Lady G! It's got to be better than the Italian place Ted & I ate at a couple of years ago during our short trip to NYC! So bad I can't remember the name, but we had to head to the bakery down the street to fill up on Bagels and Black & White cookies! YUM! Click here to find out more!

Tonight's challenge is the 1st solo one, Night Terrors. Create the ultimate horror character. Matthew shouldn't have any problems with this since he is the creator/mastermind behind 'Mr Creep'! Wonder if Mr. Creep will be tonight's inspiration.
