Here are some pretty impressive numbers for SXSW 2013 Film Fest March 8-16:
-Over 5,000 films were submitted for consideration for the 2013. The 109 that will show during this year's SXSW FF were picked form a record of 2,096 feature-length film submissions composed of 1,482 U.S & 614 international feature-length films!
The 9 days of the 109 films that made it consist of 69 world premieres, 14 N. American premieres & 5 U.S. premieres! Lots of celebs will be all over downtown ATX. Have your camera ready! (KXAN)

Ted & I have been putting off getting the seat cover fixed on the MINI. We accidentally ran into VMC Upholstery in Southpark Meadows. We are happy we did. The 2013 Oscars had the cheapest goodie bag. It's value was around $48K, which is way different from $90K just a couple of years ago. Although the stars have to pay taxes on it now, so a lower value might be better. The Oscars gave this goodie bag to Oscar Losers. It included things like $15K open bar event good for 100 guests, weight loss retreat valued at $4K, circus classes for the kiddos.. the most unusual goodies was the'Vampire Facelift'! The VFL is having your blood drawn and then having it/plasma re-injected into your face to plump up the skin. HHMMM...
Here are 2 of my favorite dresses. I know Halle's wasn't a favorite by many, but she owned it when she walked on the Oscar stage. I think she looked FABULOUS! Sandra Bullock too, even if the Oscar envelope was giving her a hard time. It was a great way to show off her guns'. They both look amazing! Wonder what they think of the 'Vampire Facelift'?

You created some Big Love & Smiles that are very much needed for many families. When I was there I meet Brian & Amy with their 2 year old Hayden. They had just gotten back from Dell Children's hospital from an appointment for Hayden. When we gave them a Valentine made with LOVE from folks in ATX, they immediately smiled . Hayden was happy too, plus filled with some energy to go, go, go! They were very Thankful for the extra love sent to their family! Y'all ROCK!

Waffle Hashbrowns... I eat waffles just about 1 a week. Love them! It's strange I never thought about cooking hashbrowns on the waffle iron. This is on my try out list next waffle night!

We lose around 33 minutes a week more of sleep because of heavy traffic. We get up earlier to avoid being late for work, because traffic sucks. I have to agree on that today. I woke up earlier so I could wash my hair and still be able to get to work on time. Click here for more 411!
