I love tattoos. At one time, I considered a smiley w/ a mic tattoo. I have never gotten one because I keep changing my mind about what I want. I just got done reading the book'The Host' again. I had read it a while ago when it first came out. I figured when the movie hits this year, I'll be refreshed w/ the story line. I recommend getting the book. I'm a BIG FAN of the book. I'm hoping the movie does it justice. It hits theaters March 29th! I'm planning to see it! Are you?
When I go to a coffeeshop, I see lots of people studying or working on creative things. I should have thought to do this when I went to college. I hated studying in the library, because it was just way to abnormally quiet. I thought maybe it was just me, but from the site I ran into, to quiet can keep the creative juices from flowing. How to get the juices flowing? Have you heard of Coffitivity?
Research shows:
-It's pretty hard to be creative in a quiet space.
-A loud workplace can be frustrating and distracting.
-The mix of calm and commotion in an environment like a coffee house is proven to be just what you need to get those creative juices flowing.
If you can't get to a coffeeshop right now to be creative, this can bring it to you. The study suggests you work to coffeehouse noise when you need to be creative. A list has been released of the Top 100 American Idol Hits of All Time. It was June 11, 2002 when AI first came on our tvs and feel for a Texas girl Kelly Clarkson. I can say she is still my favorite American Idol! KELLY ROCKS!! Well a list like this kinda makes it sound like A.I is almost done when it comes to the show. From what I've seen so far, this could be likely, because the talent this season is luke warm for the most part. I can hear Simon say I could hear better in a bar. BTW Kelly has 6 hits in the Top 10 on the list SHE IS QUEEN of AMERICAN Idol! Check out the list.

Marilyssa dropped by with Cole, Savannah and Erika to pick up a prize they won, and wanted to say hey. I showed them around the studio a bit and then of course I couldn't say bye until I got a cute photo. My new friends ROCK! :) Keep an eye out for a book called 'Stuffed with Dreams'. Savannah wrote it and it's published. It's getting released tomorrow in G-Town! Erika is a singer/musician inspired by Adele. Cole enjoys football and he definitely has 'Fantastic Fashion Sense' LOVE HIS HAT!! This made my day! :) Always nice to meet and make new friends.
I got a Community Impact Newspaper in the mail and I ran across their SXSW Fest Local Spot Light Coverage. I also found it online www.impactnews.com. They broke it down with local things to check out. It's very well done, and very useful info about badges, wristbands, free events parking and more..
Spring is coming and LOVE is in the air at Walmart... ??? Yeah, I had to double take when I saw that this morning. According to Psychology Today the most popular place of people to find 'LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT' is .. WALMART. Here's another romantic place... 'CraigsList' has a section devoted to 'missed connections'. These are posts that peeps leave for someone else they met/saw but didn't speak to them when they saw them, but feel they had a 'Love At First Sight' experience. The majority of these types of posts involved the 'Love Bug Zaps' happening at Walmart...especially in Texas, Florida, Ohio, Montana and North Carolina.
Watch out when you go to Wally World especially w/ Spring coming! The Love Bug might bite you or at least give you some Spring Fever! Oh...if you're ever in Kansas apparantly love sparks at McDonald's while eating french fries!
My honey Ted and I make a joke that we're going on our Friday night Walmart date, because we end up there at some point on most Fridays to pick up some things. Hey, there's a McDonald's inside 'Our Walmart'. We might have to get some fries while we're walking around grabbing our stuff...SO ROMANTIC.. LOL! Who knew Walmart could be keeping the fires burning since we've been together for 21 years!

The Science Channel will be answering that and more starting Tuesday 3/5 kicking off a month of all that's ALIEN w the show 'Are we alongA?' Way more interesting than America Idol this season. I'm so disappointed so far this season. Can't wait for The Voice... okay sidetracked. Science channel is making science cool...Video here!
