Grandma's Chocolate Cake recipe. I'm going to have to try it !
Chocolate Cake is soft on the mouth right? :)   I could not find my copy , so I asked my mom for hers and she had to call an aunt, then found hers. Here it is, somewhat edited. It was brown and taped together. A very loved recipe.
Quick Cocoa Cake
1 1/2 cup flour           6 T wesson oil
1 cup sugar               1 T vinegar
3 T cocoa                   1 t vanilla
1/2 t salt                      1 cup cold water
1 t soda
*Sift and mix all dry ingredients together. Level and make three holes in dry ingredients. Pour oil in one hole and vinegar and vanilla into the others. Pour water over all. Stir until smooth. Pour into ungreased square pan and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. They used to melt two chocolate bars on top of warm cake. I like butter cream frosting on it. It is also great with no frosting.    Muffie :)
