Archie ran across this story about Bulldogs and other short nosed pooches are being banned from air travel, because it's harder for them to breath and the elevation can cause problems. This is only in the cargo area, and does not pertain if they are in the cabin.The ban includes some cats like the Persian and the Himalayian.The Agriculture Department reports 189 animal deaths on commercial flights between June 2005 and June 2011, The New York Times reports.
