6:00 AM: APD announced last night they have finally discovered who committed the attacks on Austin women around New Year's, and likely the murder of Esme Barerra. He was a 25 year old man who committed suicide. They are trying to match his DNA and clothing fibers to give 100% closure to the family of Esme Barerra. Yesterday 12,000 people attended Joe Paterno's public memorial at Penn State. The passengers on the Costa Concordia are being offered $14,460 a piece as well as travel expenses and medical expenses. The actor who played Epstein on Welcome Back Kotter passed away at age 60 yesterday. Austin Animal Center took in many cats and dogs this week because of the storms, and they will keep them for 3 days until putting them up for adoption.

6:40 AM: A weatherman in Scranton got real while forecasting the weather on live TV, and said he hates winter and hates some of his co workers. It's pretty funny.
6:45 AM: Sara went to see Wicked last night, and it's playing at The Bass Concert Hall. She thinks this show is one of the best touring Broadway shows, and everyone should see it. It's the "prequel" to the Wizard of Oz, and explains how the witches became the good witch and the bad witch.
6:53 AM: Should a woman ever split the check with a man? Kyle from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills thinks that a woman should never do this. She also says if a man wants to split or takes the woman's credit card, she should be done with him right then and there.

7:07 AM: Cecily Knobler LIVE from Hollywood. The Gray is out this week, which stars Liam Neeson versus rabid wild wolves in the snow. Cecily says it's above average, but not amazing. Grade: C+. Also out this week; One For the Money starring Katherine Heigl. Cecily says it's pretty bad. Grade: D. Man on a Ledge is also out, starring Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks. Cecily thought the first half was great and it kind of falls off afterwards.

Another teen reported a text by one of them that seemed to imply a threat. She immediately went to the school's administration, and they caught the teens. 6:00 AM: Yesterday we set a record for the most rainfall in Austin in January in a 1 day period. Joe Paterno's public memorial is happening today and thousands of people are expected to attend. April 25-28 we will have a comedy festival in Austin and 60 comics will be featured at 12 venues in town. The headlines are Seth Meyers, Aziz Ansari, and Stephen Wright. They expect to draw 22,000 to 25,000 people this year. The Mayor of East Haven Connecticut is it some hot water right now. His cops have been under investigation for harassing Latino residents, and when they asked the mayor what he was going to do for the Latino community tonight, he said "I may have tacos for dinner".
6:15 AM: Fact or bull fact—President facts. Obama is the first African American to address congress in a joint session. President George W. Bush wore blue neckties 5 of the 8 times he did The State of the Union address. There is always one cabinet member who doesn't attend the State of the Union address in case of a disaster, they will be able to serve as President. This person is called the "designated survivor".
6:25 AM: We found a funny clip from a county spelling bee. The word the boy is asked to spell is "Heron", but for some reason he can't hear the judge or understand what she is saying so he goes back and forth for a long time guessing what word she is saying.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Pat Sajak recently did an interview on ESPN and said he has done Wheel of Fortune drunk back in the days when he was young. Apple became the most valuable company in the world yesterday, and they often switch back and forth with Exxon Mobil. Demi Moore was hospitalized this week, and apparently she inhaled nitrous oxide, or a "whippet" to get high. This caused her to seizure, and there is a rumor that this is why Ashton Kutcher left her. A woman named Eleanor who passed away last year donated 2 million dollars to the Salvation Army. Everyone thought she was poor, because she never spent a dime on going out to eat, or vacation, or having cable TV.

Bruce Jenner told US Weekly that his kids don't need to go to college.

New rules rolled out for meals in schools. They will now have to offer fruits and vegetable to students every day. 6:00 AM: The State of the Union address was last night, and we felt that he did a good job. Steve Jobs' widow, the founder of Instagram, and Warren Buffett's secretary were all sitting with Michelle Obama during the speech. Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital last night, and her people are claiming it is due to exhaustion. A woman in West Campus awoke in the middle of the night on Tuesday with a man crouched by her bed. She screamed immediately, and he fled before she could see what he looked like. This happened only a mile away from the attacks of the women on New Year's Day, but they aren't sure yet if they are related.
6:20 AM: You can get married this weekend at the Way South Philly food trailer for $39.99. Included in the price you also get two sandwiches, two drinks, two tater tots, and a marriage license.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Soon, Facebook Timeline will be forced upon all Facebook users, and they will have 1 week to preview it before it goes live. A F150 Ford Truck hit and ran on a cyclist this week near 183 and Oak Knoll, and the cyclist died. The truck didn't stop and render aide, and they are looking for the driver.
6:41 AM: What's the theme? Kenny G, Katy Perry, and Seal. They are all getting divorced right now. JB suspects that Kenny G's wife finally got tired of all the hair clogging up the sink and finally had to divorce him.

7:10 AM: Sara has been feeling depressed lately, and reached out to JB and Sandy about it. She has been sad lately and thinks it's because all of her friends are getting married or getting pregnant, and she feels left behind. She cried on Saturday when she realized she had nothing to do, and made a friend go to dinner with her and paid for his food just so she didn't have to be alone. The guys were worried about her, and looked up some signs of depression to see if she fits them. Robin called in and said she had been in similar situation before. She went to a lot of meetups to meet new people, and found a good book called "Calling and The One" that helped her out.
7:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Last night US Navy Seals rescued two Americans who were kidnapped and being held hostage in Somalia. Last night President Obama did The State of the Union address, and we felt that he did a good job. Seal was on Ellen's show yesterday and he said he will continue to wear his wedding ring because it's a token of 8 wonderful years together with Heidi. He says he will be connected to her in many ways for the rest of their lives.
7:45 AM: Today's topics. Should babies always be free? A lot of moms are upset because at the upcoming London Olympics, people have to pay a ticket fee to bring their infant into the ceremonies. 57% of people would like the Super Bowl to be on a Saturday.
7:56 AM: JB invited his dog into bed this morning with his wife, and he tucked her in. The dog was so happy, he tucked her into the bed, and he laid her head on the pillow and left her in bed with Erin. This morning Erin woke up and emailed JB saying the dog was a "stinker" for getting into the bed.

Things parents wish people knew about their kids; Babies cry and toddlers throw fits. Children aren't rational like adults are. Just because my house is messy it doesn't mean that I don't clean. I value my child's nap time, so it may mean we miss your event if it interferes with a nap. Raising cats and dogs is not the same as raising a child. Sometimes my kids are loud and obnoxious, and it's not because I'm a bad parent.

6:00 AM: Oscar Nominations will be announced this morning starting at 7:30 AM. Public viewings of Joe Paterno will be today and a public memorial will take place on Thursday. There was a multi car collision on Mopac and Far West Boulevard yesterday that sent 4 people to the hospital. There are bald eagles near Austin in Webberville.
6:10 AM: What do you spend way too much money on? Here's the stuff our listeners said; good liquor, bicycles, the ren faire, starbucks, kitchen supplies, eyelash extensions, guns ammo and hunting license, workout clothes, and tattoos. Sandy spends too much on undershirts, Alex spends too much on cologne, JB spends too much on anything for his daughter. Cass spends too much on MAC makeup, and Sara spends too much at Lulu Lemon.

Allie doesn't feel bad about it, and doesn't think there is anything wrong with her decision.

JB says he has to play it cooler than that, so it doesn't look like you're so excited to have a day to yourself.

6:00 AM: The Giants and the Patriots will face off in this year's Superbowl. Sandy and Alex were at the bar yesterday watching the games, and Alex got so drunk he had to go home and was in bed by halftime of the 2nd game. Joe Paterno, head coach of Penn State's football team passed away over the weekend, as did singer Etta James. Newt Gingrich won the South Carolina primaries over the weekend. Underworld Awakening came in 1st place in the movie box office this weekend.
6:15 AM: The average American worker spends $1,092 a year on coffee. That breaks down to $20 a week on average. They also spend $1,476 on their commute to and from work every year. They spend $37 a week on food outside of the office while they are at work.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Tracy Morgan was hospitalized yesterday during Sundance Film festival. He appeared to be extremely intoxicated, according to reports, but his publicist is saying that it was just caused by altitude sickness. Heidi Klum and Seal are getting divorced. Our first weekend of racing at the new F1 track will be on November 18th 2012. Cedar Park is cracking down on people who are driving without insurance. If you are pulled over, you will get an automatic ticket if you are found to be driving without insurance.

She was in an accident skiing, which put her into the coma. An 18 year old kid was arrested for impersonating a Florida police officer. Beyonce and Jay-Z left the hospital in a motorcade yesterday to take their daughter home. Police are still trying to find a man who is trying to abduct children in the Cedar Park area and they have released a sketch of him. The consumer electronics show is going on in Vegas right now and in the future we can expect TVs that have built in social media, TVs you can control with your arms, TVs that connect with your tablet devices, and a new type of TV screen that is better than HD.
6:15 AM: Tim Tebow fact or bull fact. Tim Tebow was born in the Philippines while his parents were Christian missionaries. Tim Tebow is the youngest of 5 kids. Tim Tebow's mom went into a coma while pregnant with him, and doctors expected him to be stillborn. Tim was homeschooled as a child, but went to public school in high school. He moved with his mom to a different town when he was in high school so he could play quarterback for a more pass friendly school. 6:00 AM: Alabama shut out LSU 21-0 last night in the National championship game. This is the first shut out in the 14 year history of the BCS. Yesterday Jay Z released a rap song about the birth of his daughter. Tim Tebow's win against the Steelers on Sunday night has gotten a lot of attention. He threw for 316 yards in the game, the amount of people who watched was 31.6 million, and this is all drawing comparisons to the bible verse he'd always put on his face when he played for Florida.
6:15 AM: Tax season is coming up, and it's good to know your chances of being audited. 12.5% of people that make more than 1 million dollars a year were audited last year. 4% of people making $200,000 or more were audited last year. Less than 1% of people making less than $200,000 a year were audited last year.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Snoop Dogg was on his tour bus yesterday and got pulled over on the same stretch of Texas highway and drug dogs found marijuana on his tour bus. She wishes she would have said "no, I don't want to try it on, because I don't like to buy from rude people". Her other option would be "yes, I do want to try it on, and even if I want to try on every bracelet in the store, you will let me because I'm the customer, and the customer is always right". Something similar happened to Sandy years ago. One morning he was in his neighborhood walking his dog and was just in shorts and a t shirt. Tonight LSU and Alabama face off in the National Championship game. Beyonce and Jay Z had a baby girl over the weekend and she will either be called Ivy Blue or Blue Ivy. Last night Gabrielle Giffords attended a memorial for the people who died in the same shooting in which she was injured. Rick Perry is not giving up on the GOP race, and says he will continue on. The Devil Inside made 34 million dollars over the weekend, making it #1 in the box office.
6:12 AM: Gas prices will get up to $4.00 a gallon by this spring, according to reports. iPads and Android tablets will go down in price in 2012, and so will GPS units. 3D TVs will drop in price quite a bit this year, and so will the price of car rentals. Home prices are currently down 3%, and home prices should keep going down or will at least stay the same. Airline tickets will get MORE expensive in the New Year, and flights to Europe will go up even more. Hard Drives for your computer will go up in price, as will the price of gold. Water is going to be more expensive this year, and you will see this on your water bill. Shipping prices will go up on January 22nd.

There were reports of a man in a blue pick up truck in Leander trying to lure children to his car with cookies. He now has moved to Steiner Ranch apparently. Yesterday a video of Casey Anthony appeared on the internet. Her lawyers say they have no idea how it ended up on the internet, and she recorded it last October. Drew Barrymore is engaged to an art consultant, and this will be her 3rd wedding. Justin Timberlake's grandma has confirmed that he is engaged to Jessica Biel.

He said he thought getting paid to watch sports was the biggest scam ever, but now he knows getting paid to lose weight is. Tiger Wood's ex Elin Nordegren bought a 12 million dollar mansion and wasn't happy with it, so she's tearing it down and re-building her dream home.

6:00 AM: Mitt Romney edged out Rick Santorum by 8 votes last night in the Iowa Caucus. Rick Perry came in 5th and he announced he will be coming home to Texas. Bentley is making an SUV model, and they say even though times are tough, they saw a profit in 2011. A Swedish woman lost her wedding ring in 1995, and this month she was out in her garden and the ring appeared around a carrot that had grown.
6:12 AM: Facebook was cited in 1 in every 5 divorces a few years ago, and now is cited as the cause of 1 in 3 divorces. Spouses are sending inappropriate messages to someone on Facebook in most cases. Sometimes it comes up because the people post negative things on Facebook about their soon to be spouse. Also, the spouses de-friend each other as the divorce is going on and their friends have to snoop for one another.
6:30 AM: Brad Pitt had his birthday and Christmas in December, so Angelina Jolie bought him a waterfall. She bought him a waterfall with land so he can build a home inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's "Falling Waters". Yesterday Mayor Lee Leffingwell talked about his goals for the New Year. He wants to increase jobs in the city, help with health issues, and bring back the Trail of Lights. He also talked about transportation issues in Austin and a decision will be reached in the spring about a subway type system. Matthew McConaghey's girlfriend Camilla said she will not have any more children with him unless he married her, so he proposed over the holidays. Arnold Schwarzenegger is rumored to be back together with Maria Shriver.
6:37 AM: Alex's wife is still home in El Paso and he has regressed instantly to his bachelor days. Alex is usually a VERY clean guy, and we even find him to be OCD about his "neat freak" ways. It annoys all of us, because he's always cleaning up after us. His wife has been gone for 4 days, and he's on a bender. He hasn't cleaned a single dish since she's been gone. The whole apartment is covered in dirty dishes and bowls. He has piles of laundry everywhere, and even has piles of clean clothes that need to be folded and put away.

The list of states that the highest numbers of people are moving to has come out and includes; Virginia, Minnesota, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Alaska. The #1 is actually California—but California has BOTH the highest number of people moving in AND people moving out.

7:10 AM: Today's Moment of Pinterest. Sara found an awesome DIY Lampshade on Pinterest. You take free paint stirrers and stain them with wood stain. Then glue them to a cheap lampshade and it looks very expensive when the project is done. Cass found a way to make glitter high heels by mixing glitter with mod podge and painting it on shoes. 7:17 AM: Sandy hates a new trend in music, and he wants to get it off of his chest. He doesn't like the ukulele trend, and says he doesn't know anyone else who loves it. There are a lot of YouTube videos of girls singing cover songs and playing the ukulele, and even Eddie Vedder has some ukulele songs. Sandy says enough!
7:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. The top 10 earning hip hop artists of the last 5 years list has come out, and Sara was surprised that Eminem was all the way down at #10. The top 5 were; Timberland (5th), Kayne West (4th place with 100 million), Diddy (3rd place with 158 million), 50 Cent (2nd place with 216 million), and Jay Z (1st place with 251 million). She is in an unhappy marriage and wants out, but she thinks her husband who is in very bad health, will be dead in a few years anyways. She doesn't know if she should stay with him and wait until he dies, or divorce him. She is miserable in her marriage, and has no idea what to do.
7:50 AM: What do our listeners think Kathy should do? All of them think she should leave him, even though she took the vow "til death do us part". One listener made a good point that if Kathy is as miserable as she is now, she will be even more miserable once she has been with him for a few more years as his caretaker.
