6:00 AM: Lake Travis is now a 5A school as of yesterday. Roseanne Barr announced she is planning to run for President in the Green party. Today is National wear red day in honor of the American Heart Association. The city council approved a $1 surcharge for anyone who rides in a taxi from 9 pm to 4 am, to try and encourage cab drivers to make more runs for people drinking at night.

Thieves stole 3 million dollars worth of historical gold nuggets from a court house this week.

6:00 AM: The Longhorns picked up 28 mean yesterday on signing day, and we got many of the nation's top recruits. Today is Groundhog Day, which we think is the weirdest "holiday" ever. Yesterday Don Cornelius died from an apparent suicide at age 77. Facebook went public yesterday, and it leaves many of us wondering how rich it will make Zuckerberg. He could be worth 28 billion dollars, putting him at #9 on the Forbes wealthiest people list. Last night David Letterman celebrated 30 years of being a late night host. A Texas millionaire adopted his 42 year old girlfriend as his daughter to protect his assets in the midst of a legal battle he is in.
6:15 AM: JB has reached the moment in life where he daughter, who is 10, has started to tease him and make fun of him. Last night he decided to sit down and record their conversation about it. She said that JB is not very bright, and a lot of times he does things that make him seem stupid, but she loves him anyways.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Katy Perry and Adele will perform at the Grammys this year. Nicki Minaj's rider has come out and includes the following; 3 large baked good scented candles, 24 bottled waters, 24 red bulls, 24 snapples, turkey bacon, toast, eggs, Belgian waffles, spicy chicken, tuna, and crackers. Octavia Spencer from The Help is making the rounds during awards season, and she was on Ellen yesterday. She admitted that she wore 3 pairs of Spanx on the night of the Golden Globes, and she was very uncomfortable. American Airlines could cut 13,000 jobs to try and help the company financially and try to avoid bankruptcy.
6:48 AM: There is a bet you can make that Sandy says is a lock to make some money. The bet is whether or not Kelly Clarkson's version of the National Anthem before the Super Bowl will be longer or shorter than 1 minute and 35 seconds. Sandy watched every video of her in existence on YouTube of her singing it, and she has NEVER gone over 1 minute and 35 seconds.

7:10 AM: What's the cost? Sara has a theory that men have no idea how much women's beauty and health products really cost. So today she looked up some items and quizzed the guys on the prices. How much is a Victoria's Secret bra? Sandy thought $17, JB thought $28, and Alex thought $30. The bra is really a whopping $49! For the $9.50 box of tampons, Sandy guessed $50, JB guessed $23, and Alex guessed $13.
7:20 AM: Today's topics. Today the SXSW wristbands go on sale for Austinities. Sandy wonder if buying a wristband is really worth it. JB says it really depends on how you want to do SXSW. Wristband people can't get into the big shows, so if you want to see the biggest bands, you have to get a badge. If you want to see the up and coming bands, then a wristband will do you just fine.
7:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. The Groundhog determined this morning we will have more winter, but we're not sure what this means since we haven't really had winter yet. SXSW will host the world premiere of the new 21 Jump Street movie. Madonna's set list has leaked for the super bowl
7:42 AM: We talk to a listener named Glen who is in his 40's and has always lived at home with his parents. He has no desire to move out, and sees no reason why he should have to. He thinks it's the smart decision. He pays no bills, he has money to date, and makes decent money at work that he gets to pocket.

8:10 AM: Yesterday Facebook went public, and they had to release their financial information. Last year Facebook had 3.7 billion dollars in revenue, and made 1 billion in profit. They ended the year with 3.9 billion cash in hand. Be careful on Super Bowl Sunday, and remember to pee. A doctor has said that every year, he sees a rash of bladder infections after Super Bowl Sunday because people are holding their pee during the game.

According to a recent survey by Match.com, 52% of single men and 62% of single women want to marry. The NFL is launching a free fantasy football game called "The Perfect Challenge" in which the top winner will win 1 million dollars.

6:00 AM: This year you can watch the Super Bowl on your computer, as NBC will stream it online. You will be able to re-watch commercials immediately and will also be able to watch all of the pre-game coverage. Yesterday Peyton did an interview with ESPN, and addressed the status of his health for the first time. He said he was feeling great and was ready to play, but it's likely the Colts will let him go. The tickets go on sale today for the Austin comedy festival that is happening this spring.
6:15 AM: Fact of bull fact. Jerry Seinfeld owns the first and last Porsche 911's ever made. He has 50 Porsche cars in his car collection. Matthew Broderick won a Tony Award when he was only 21 years old. Jerry Seinfeld only wore white Nike shoes in every episode of Seinfeld. The actor who played the soup Nazi has also played Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden on other TV shows.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Last night George Clooney did a 2 hour episode of Inside the Actor's Studio. He said he loves doing commercials overseas because that's how he can make money to live on, and then do the films he wants to do in America that don't pay well. Live with Kelly has narrowed down a list of people who will be called back for co host options, and it includes; Jerry O'Connell, Dana Carvey, Seth Myers, and Michael Strahan. A Hutto man has been arrested for impersonating a police officer at least 5 times. The Costa Concordia ship has announced that passengers will each get $14,000, but for 6 passengers that isn't enough money. These 6 passengers are suing the cruise line for 460 million dollars.
6:45 AM: Questions from the bag. Alex, when you were a kid were you ever attracted to one of your friend's moms? If so, tell us about it. Alex says he was in love with the Cook family's mom because they were the only white family he'd ever seen growing up in El Paso. 6:00 AM: Last night the SAG awards were on TV and The Help took home the most awards. Modern Family won for best ensemble cast in a TV show. Downtown Austin was without power for many hours late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Demi Moore's 911 call tape has been released, and on the call the friend is telling the 911 operator that she smoked something and she is convulsing. Last night was the finale of Kim Kardashian takes New York, and it was in that episode when she realized she wanted to end her marriage to Kris Humphries. The Grey was the #1 film in the box office over the weekend.
6:13 AM: There is an artist called Alice Russell that is coming to town this year for SXSW and she has an amazing cover of "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley. There is another artist called Laura Jansen, who has an incredible cover of the Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody".
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Demi Moore's 911 call tape has been released, and on the call the friend is telling the 911 operator that she smoked something and she is convulsing. The move to expand Mopac is likely to be approved in the fall. They would start in 2014 and end in 2016 if they are on schedule. HEB is going to invent 100 million dollars into Austin stores, which means there will be new stores and several existing stores will expand, which will add about 1,000 jobs in Austin.
6:42 AM: Unknown poll. Do you lie to your kids? In a National survey, only 85% say that they lie to their kids. We polled our listeners, and all of them except one say they constantly lie to their kids. Sandy and JB both lie, and say it's just part of making the day to day easier.

He grew up in his mom's flower shop, and at age 12 to 13 he was REALLY good at floral design. Alex could have been a racecar driver, and he says this because he was good at driving go-karts at the kid's playland in El Paso.

6:00 AM: APD announced last night they have finally discovered who committed the attacks on Austin women around New Year's, and likely the murder of Esme Barerra. He was a 25 year old man who committed suicide. They are trying to match his DNA and clothing fibers to give 100% closure to the family of Esme Barerra. Yesterday 12,000 people attended Joe Paterno's public memorial at Penn State. The passengers on the Costa Concordia are being offered $14,460 a piece as well as travel expenses and medical expenses. The actor who played Epstein on Welcome Back Kotter passed away at age 60 yesterday. Austin Animal Center took in many cats and dogs this week because of the storms, and they will keep them for 3 days until putting them up for adoption.

A teen girl was riding on a bus and the bus driver had a heart attack and she saved the passengers by taking the wheel.
6:40 AM: A weatherman in Scranton got real while forecasting the weather on live TV, and said he hates winter and hates some of his co workers. It's pretty funny.
6:45 AM: Sara went to see Wicked last night, and it's playing at The Bass Concert Hall. She thinks this show is one of the best touring Broadway shows, and everyone should see it. It's the "prequel" to the Wizard of Oz, and explains how the witches became the good witch and the bad witch.
6:53 AM: Should a woman ever split the check with a man? Kyle from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills thinks that a woman should never do this. She also says if a man wants to split or takes the woman's credit card, she should be done with him right then and there.

APD announced last night they have finally discovered who committed the attacks on Austin women around New Year's, and likely the murder of Esme Barerra. He was a 25 year old man who committed suicide. They are trying to match his DNA and clothing fibers to give 100% closure to the family of Esme Barerra. JC Penney has made a change in which every single day will be a sale day, meaning everything will be 40% off from now on.

6:00 AM: Yesterday we set a record for the most rainfall in Austin in January in a 1 day period. Joe Paterno's public memorial is happening today and thousands of people are expected to attend. April 25-28 we will have a comedy festival in Austin and 60 comics will be featured at 12 venues in town. The headlines are Seth Meyers, Aziz Ansari, and Stephen Wright. They expect to draw 22,000 to 25,000 people this year. The Mayor of East Haven Connecticut is it some hot water right now. His cops have been under investigation for harassing Latino residents, and when they asked the mayor what he was going to do for the Latino community tonight, he said "I may have tacos for dinner".

Bush wore blue neckties 5 of the 8 times he did The State of the Union address. 6:00 AM: The State of the Union address was last night, and we felt that he did a good job. Steve Jobs' widow, the founder of Instagram, and Warren Buffett's secretary were all sitting with Michelle Obama during the speech. Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital last night, and her people are claiming it is due to exhaustion. A woman in West Campus awoke in the middle of the night on Tuesday with a man crouched by her bed. She screamed immediately, and he fled before she could see what he looked like. This happened only a mile away from the attacks of the women on New Year's Day, but they aren't sure yet if they are related.
6:20 AM: You can get married this weekend at the Way South Philly food trailer for $39.99. Included in the price you also get two sandwiches, two drinks, two tater tots, and a marriage license.
6:30 AM: 4 things you need to know with Sara. Soon, Facebook Timeline will be forced upon all Facebook users, and they will have 1 week to preview it before it goes live. A F150 Ford Truck hit and ran on a cyclist this week near 183 and Oak Knoll, and the cyclist died. The truck didn't stop and render aide, and they are looking for the driver.

The guys were worried about her, and looked up some signs of depression to see if she fits them. Robin called in and said she had been in similar situation before. There was a multi car collision on Mopac and Far West Boulevard yesterday that sent 4 people to the hospital. There are bald eagles near Austin in Webberville.

Here's the stuff our listeners said; good liquor, bicycles, the ren faire, starbucks, kitchen supplies, eyelash extensions, guns ammo and hunting license, workout clothes, and tattoos. 6:00 AM: The Giants and the Patriots will face off in this year's Superbowl. Sandy and Alex were at the bar yesterday watching the games, and Alex got so drunk he had to go home and was in bed by halftime of the 2nd game. Joe Paterno, head coach of Penn State's football team passed away over the weekend, as did singer Etta James. Newt Gingrich won the South Carolina primaries over the weekend. Underworld Awakening came in 1st place in the movie box office this weekend.
6:15 AM: The average American worker spends $1,092 a year on coffee. That breaks down to $20 a week on average. They also spend $1,476 on their commute to and from work every year. They spend $37 a week on food outside of the office while they are at work.

He walked around for a couple of days with it in his head before he realized something was off. He got the nail removed and will be fine!

Yesterday Newt's ex-wife went to the media and said that in 1999 Newt Gingrich told his wife that she had to have an open marriage or he would divorce her. He claims this isn't true, and went off on it during a debate last night. Sarah Burke, a 29 year old freestyle skier passed away yesterday after being in a coma for a month. She was in an accident skiing, which put her into the coma. An 18 year old kid was arrested for impersonating a Florida police officer. One year ago he was arrested for posing as a physician's assistant, and he worked in the emergency room for 6 days. Haywire, Redtails, and Underworld are all out in movie theatres today.
