The first choice is Kyle Bush, who drives the M&M car, and she hates this idea. She hates Kyle Bush and says he’s like a Keebler Elf. Juan Pablo Montoya who drives the Target car is his 2nd choice, and Chris would be ok with that choice. His 3rd choice is Danica Patrick, who drives the Go Daddy car. She had to pay the bill, and she had no ride home. Cassiday hates the fade away, in which the guy kind of just fades away and never talks to you again. We all agreed that that “it’s not you, it’s me”, is such a cop out, and one of the worst ways to be broken up with.

Two pedestrians were hit on the sidewalk in front of Wheastville Co-op, and one was killed instantly. During the F1 race, hotel prices will be extremely elevated. For example, the Super 8 will be $546 a night, which is 5 times the average price.
7:40 AM: JB ran the Livestrong Marathon this weekend, and we have a lot of questions for him. He was asked several times if it was his first marathon. Sandy has a theory that the only people who ask that question are people who have already run one, so they can brag to you. It took 6 minutes to even get to the starting line because 18,000 people were running. The worst thing he saw was a woman on the ground who looked like her whole body was cramping up. He also saw a woman who had pooped her pants. His favorite signs were; “worst parade ever”, “toenails are for sissies”, “run Forrest run”, and “Humpty Dumpty has wall issues too”.

Rosewood hotels have a fragrance butler who delivers a selection of perfume and cologne on a silver platter. They have dog surfing experts in San Diego on Coronado Island, and sleep experts at the Benjamin Hotel in NYC. A 90 year old man in California was at home, when a younger man broke in and tried to rob him. They got in a scuffle, and the young man shot the old man in the head. The old man made his way to the bathroom and pretended he needed to use the restroom. He actually had a gun hidden in the bathroom and shot the young guy.

6:15 AM: Fact or bull fact: The Adele and Whitney Houston edition. Adele was discovered on MySpace. Adele’s name is Adele Laurie Blue Atkins.  Adele’s dad left the family when she was 4 years old. Adele made her U.S. TV debut on The Today Show. Whitney Houston won 6 Grammy awards in her entire career, and that’s how many Adele won Sunday night. Bobby Brown was Whitney Houston’s only husband. Whitney Houston sang backup for Chaka Khan at age 15. Whitney Houston was arrested once for possession of weed in an airport. Whitney Houston was in a Canada Dry commercial at age 19.

An Austin woman was scammed out of $30,000 by a man she corresponded with on a senior dating site, but had never met. Green Day and Beyonce are both working on new albums. Violent crime is up 83% in downtown Austin, so the police are working hard to try and stop it.
6:40 AM: Alex’s factoid of the day. This weekend Alex knocked over a full pot of soup and then beat the hell out of the pan. He went to Bed Bath and Beyond and told them about what he did. They said they would have replaced it, but he threw the pot away.
6:48 AM: 2 minute topic. Someone has booked the hotel room that Whitney Houston died in for the foreseeable future, but would you stay in that room? Sandy would stay there, but wouldn’t seek it out. JB felt the same way, because he thinks people die in hotel rooms all the time. Sara would take a fiber out of the bathmat and try to sell it. Creepy!
7:00 AM: Coast to coast news in 60 seconds.
7:10 AM: Questions from the bag? Sara, are you happy living in your current residence? If not, where would you rather live? She likes her 600 square foot apartment, but if she had more money she would like to live in the Rosedale/Allendale area.
7:20 AM: Today’s topics. Who is Jeremy Lin? He is NBA’s Tim Tebow, basically. This guy was a nobody in the sport until recently. He went to Harvard, and has been cut from several teams in the past.  He was given 1 week to play in the NBA, and was going to be cut. He was sleeping on his brother’s couch, and then in the week that he played, he blew everyone out of the water with his amazing skills. He is now the biggest story in sports.  A charter school in Chicago charges kids money for things like being late to class, violating dress code, and chewing gum.  So far they have made $20,000, and use it to pay the teachers who have to stay late to administer detention for these students. An elderly couple in a retirement community is getting married, but they can’t speak the same language.  Could you do it?

She hung up on us yesterday but later got in touch and said she wanted to come on this morning. She apologized and said she is so embarrassed for how she acted. She said she was just worked up because it was Valentine’s Day and she and her boyfriend are getting close to a proposal. She talked to him, and everything is fine.
7:50 AM: There are rumors that Apple may be coming out with a smaller iPad with an 8 inch screen. Sandy doesn’t have an iPad, so he thinks this sounds great.  JB buys every Apple product that comes out, so we think he’ll definitely get it. Sara has an iPhone but doesn’t see the need for an iPad.
8:07 AM: Headlines that don’t make the 4 things.  Dog groomers at Petco in Hawaii cut off the tip of a dog’s tail and gave it back to the owner without telling them. The owner quickly knew because the tail was still bleeding. That dog owner’s friend took her dog to the same Petco and they cut off her dog’s ear and tried to glue it back on.  10% of Words with Friends players ended up hooking up with someone because of Words with Friends.
8:24 AM: Anonymous confessions. Who talks on the phone while pooping all the time? Who helped their uncle light a car on fire because his ex wife won it in the divorce? Who broke up their sibling’s relationship on purpose? Who ate an entire bag of communion wafers? Who would walk down the bad part of town when they were kids to see if a hooker would grab their “junk” for free?
