London 2012 Wrap Up..

The closing ceremonies on Sunday evening are suppose to be the biggest closer yet in Big Event history! Here are some of the acts set to play and some others that are rumored to show up!  WIll you watch?

The acts performing are supposed to be a closely guarded secret, but some artists such as George Michael, Muse and Ed Sheeran have confirmed their participation – with no ticking off from organisers, perhaps conscious that all are appearing for just £1.

Other rumoured performances include The Kinks’ Ray Davies singing ‘Waterloo Sunset’, Paul McCartney, Adele, Pet Shop Boys, Beady Eye, Take That, Queen, Paul Weller, One Direction and Elton John, while the Spice Girls have been photographed rehearsing on top of black cabs.  Another rumor Adele.... which would be cool if that turned out!

More juicy tibits:
The set has reportedly been designed by Es Devlin, who has previously worked with Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

Elton John’s absence from both the Opening and Closing Ceremony seems like a glaring oversight, so it is fair to wonder if he might make a surprise appearance.

And consider this: The big rumor before the Opening Ceremony was that Daniel Craig would appear as James Bond alongside Queen Elizabeth II herself; that indeed happened, but the other part of the rumor then was that the queen would knight the iconic, fictitious spy. That didn’t happen in the Opening Ceremony, but it would make a nice bookend if it happened in the closing.

Phillip Phillips (AI season 11), his tune 'HOME' has become huge again thanks to the Big Events.  It was played when the 5 Ladies on the US Gymnastics team won Gold. 'HOME' is the best selling single on iTunes right now.  Word is Phillip Phillips may sing it live during the closing party!
Here's the video with 'HOME' to it! GO USA! GO PPs!
