True story...last week in 2 completely seperate random conversations Viva came up as being the best place to get a massage in town. Hey guys....you know Valentines Day is coming up. I promise if you get your lady a massage from Viva Day Spa...you will have one super happy lady.
My friend and I love to treat ourselves to their mani/pedis every once in awhile... because they are worth every penny. http://www.vivadayspa.com/
Justin's Nut Butter
If I have peanut butter in the house I will eat it by the spoonful. I can't stop. I buy a few of these a week to regulate my portions....and I love throwing them in my purse/car for a quick snack. The maple almond butter is kind of amazing. Just saying. They sell them at the fancy grocery stores and at Sprouts.
My friend just had a baby and her friends sent me a link to her Care Calendar...and I thought...best invention EVER! When friends are sick or pregnant...we like to help coordinate meals. This calendar helps friends easily see what days and meals are already taken care of....no more reply all 30 message long email threads to weed through! www.carecalendar.org
Taylor Swift + The Civil Wars + Hunger Games = Amazing!
I have a problem with liner giving me racoon eyes in less than an hour. This liner doesn't go anywhere! They have it in grey - black - and brown. I kind of love the grey. I found it at Ulta - you can also buy it on Benefit's website - Click here
2. Almond Milk
I started putting the unsweetened version from Whole Foods in my coffee/tea in the morning and it is awesome! Much healthier than cream...and only 40 per cup! I usually find it for just a $1.99!
3. Instagram at Canvas Pop
Canvas Pop just started printing Instagram photos from your iphone! I had 6 of the 12'x12' made for my dad for Christmast this year. They turned out great! Click here to order!
I mean where else in Austin can you find an awesome magic act that involves adorable dogs? Is it worth the $22 ticket price? YES. Dinner on 6th street + Esters Follies = super fun night out.
Living Room at the W.
My family and I went to the W around 4:30 on Saturday and ordered off their awesome $5 happy hour snack/drink menu. We also splurged on the $11 cheese plate and it was totally worth it! You know how sometimes you spend $11 at a restaurant and they bring you a teaspoon of cheese? They don't do that at the W...they bring you the cheese!
Sarah's Key at The Violet Crown Theater
Sarah's Key tells the story of the French involvement in the Holocaust. The movie is very hard to watch...the book is even harder to read, but the event the fictitious story is based around is a part of history that is not widely known.
'Conan O'Brien Can't Stop' It was $7 on my Uverse On Demand movie...but it was a very interesting and candid look into what Conan did after leaving/losing The Tonight Show. http://conanobriencantstop.com/
www.Pinterest.com - Ok. You have to have an invite to get on this sit (ask me!) but it is addicting! Think of it as an easy way to organize and share all the amazing things you find on the web. Especially helpful if you are planning a party, decorating a house, or getting married!
Hairspray @ Zach Theatre - Seriously folks...you have until August 28th to see this show. http://www.zachtheatre.org/on-stage
Mat Kearney - Hey Mama - Obsessed with this song! I listened to it over and over again on my last road trip. It just makes me smile!
