My husband worked at this bowling alley for one day back in the 60's and he set the pins up manually. All he could handle with noise and scaryness of the folks bowling before time was one day at 50 cents an hour. He enjoyed seeing your video of this place, he has not thought about the place in years. The Austin Saengerrunde owns the Halle, the bowling center and Scholz Garten. The restaurant is currently operated by Green Mesquite. I like to tell visitors that it is understandable that no one knows about the bowling center since it is the newest part of the property - built in 1895 as opposed to 1866 for the restaurant and 1879 halle. http://www.saengerrunde.org/Austin_Saengerrunde/Bowling.html
