JB & Sandy Morning Show

Weekdays 5am - 10am

There are a lot of morning shows in Austin, and JB and Sandy are one of them. Sandy got into radio after losing a bet. JB actually voluntarily got into the radio business, even though doctors have never found evidence of anything being wrong with him.

Also on the show is Alex, the show producer formerly known as Digitz. Alex’s hobbies include mowing the lawn and watching the House of Commons on C-Span.

JB and Sandy have been together for over 12 years, the longest running morning show in the history of radio. How have they done it? “Off the air we have a rule to never speak to one another” said Sandy, right before he woke up.

If you’d like to read some stuff about JB and Sandy that actually might be true, go to jbandsandy.com and read their blogs.

Your Time With Kim Iversen

Sunday through Thursday  9pm - 11pm

Kim Iversen isn't unique among women. In fact, Kim's greatest asset is her unity with the women who represent America’s changing faces of workforce leaders, domestic goddesses, controllers of growing economic clout, and Presidents of Their Own Lives. Relationships, money, Hollywood, fashion, music, and a little "dishing" are all parts of Kim's common experience with the listeners who Kim calls "my girlfriends."

Guys listen, too.  “It’s like having the other side’s playbook” and “Kim’s hot, she’s fun, she’s like the girl in the sports bar who understands football.”  Real comments from real guys who listen to her hear what their girlfriends and wives are saying.

Kim now calls Austin, Texas home, and she loves the city known for being the Live Music Capitol of the World.  But Kim’s personal background and professional career are so like those of other upwardly mobile women it isn’t hard to understand why her show reflects so many different kinds of listeners.

“My roots are in Boise, Idaho,” Kim says.  “My American dad and my Vietnamese mom actually married without being able to communicate with each other!  Three years later, I was born and they divorced.  My dad raised me by himself and bought me a lot of “boy” stuff.  Boys have better toys anyway, so it was all for the best.  It was from my dad that I learned some important life lessons.

Dad taught me that I could do anything I wanted.  And I tried lots of things.  I am a jazz drummer, a snowboarder, and a tri-athlete. I started studying music in college, but the whole marching band thing wasn’t me, so I changed gears and finished my 6-year Plan degree in Philosophy.”

All that time to think about thinking led Kim to try Radio and Television on both coasts. Kim says, “I loved living in New York City and being a TV reporter and host there.  The vibe of the city runs through everything and everyone 24/7, and the people work hard and play hard.  The food is unmatched anywhere in the world, and the shopping!  Don’t get me started!  But you can’t beat the mountains out west for snowboarding, or the sun on the west coast!”

Kim’s show rolls all of her experience “And men, lot’s of men” into a program about life, love, relationships and reality, with a meaningful blend of pop music, fashion and food.  If you’re talking about it, your girlfriend Kim Iverson is, too.  Meet Kim on the radio tonight, 9 PM to 11 PM, Sunday thru Thursday during Your Time with Kim Iversen.  You can also visit Kim online at www.yourtimewithkim.com.
