Who knew these were in such high demand? I'm happy to find out this didn't happen in ATX. When Ted and I dropped by Walmart Thanksgiving evening to pick up a few odds and ends, at 7:30p, there were people with fold out cheers, coolers, blankets.... camped out in the isles waiting for the 1st big bargain sale at 10pm. They were blocking the isles, so it was like an obstacle course trying to get anywhere. Ted and I got the heck out of there, it was a bit scary the looks on folks faces getting ready for the quick grab at the bargains. Again, I'm happy, so far, not hearing this happened in ATX. How scary is this? Is this because it's a great deal, bad manners, or the recession has gotten folks in a frenzy. What would you do for a $2 waffle maker?
