Starring Reese Witherspoon and the vampire from Twilight Robert Pattinson
Based on the best selling book Water for Elephants. (I was ¾ done with the book when I saw the movie)
My take:
Fun to see a love story set in a Circus in the early 1900s. However with an Oscar star like Reese Witherspoon, I was expecting more of a sweeping epic film. The movie was pretty fluffy.
Look out for:
Rob Pattinson! It was nice to see Rob not as teen heart throb Edward in Twilight, but as an actor in a a legit movie. I didn’t really know if Rob could act….and turns out he can! Yay!
Heads up....there is some animal cruelty acted out in the movie.

You like Twilight
You read the book and are curious how they adapt it to the film. Remember everyone knows…yes the book is always better
You like period pieces
You like elephants
Would I go with my mom:
I told my mom to just rent the movie. She became offended and told me she wants to see it no matter what I think….so stop raining on her parade.
