Sean Mack's Reality TV Guilty Pleasure
He's not proud of this one.
So I got home from work last night and checked the ol' DVR to catch up on a show or two before going to bed. Alas, I was completely caught up on all my shows...so I started flipping around to see if I could find something.
News channels were a little too heavy, there were no good basketball games on...all of a sudden, there it was.
An old friend.
It's been a long time, "Bad Girls Club".
If you're not familiar with Bad Girls Club, it's a reality tv show in the most loose sense of the term. Most reality shows at least pretend to have some sort of concept, goal, mission...something. The great thing about "Bad Girls Club" is that it doesn't even pretend that you're interested in that. It skips the pretense and gets straight to the nitty-gritty.
The show revolves around a group of girls(bad girls, mind you) who move into a house...and, that's pretty much it. They try to "out-bad" each other by going out to different clubs/bars, having several beverages, and getting in fights(either with each other or other poor souls who looked at them the wrong way). Every episode, there's drama...intrigue...conflict...friendship...life lessons...okay, maybe not the last one. The other great thing about BGC is that there's no need to follow a plot or even see any past episodes to know whats going on.
So there you go...i'm adding "Bad Girls Club" to the DVR.
I have no shame.
