I am about as close to being native Austinite as possible. I've lived here since 1980. Grew up in Georgetown and went to Westwood High my senior year in NW Austin. I've seen this town grow up. I always wanted to get back here after a few short stints in Dallas and one in Phoenix. I've been married over 11 years to Erin and have a daughter named Raleigh. We spend a lot of time pursuing my daughters interests which include karate, surfing and art. I'm into the Texas bike racing scene, classic cars and sports cars, reading and writing. I'm a writer for a few local magazines so you may see my name pop up in an issue of Rare Magazine, Austin Monthly Home or Parentwise. I really enjoy the work we have done with JB and Sandy's Bikes for Kids, The Kelly Davidson Foundation and other local charities. I never have gotten used to the alarm going off at 4:30a.m.

I am 41 years old, an Austinite since 1996.  My wife's name is Tricia and our baby girls name is Landry.  I am a new dad, Landry was born May 30th, 2009 and we call her the "Magic Baby" because she does everything she is supposed to do.  Eat, poop, sleep in that order.  We are very blessed and thankful for having a happy baby girl.

When Landry isn't keeping me too busy, I like to do what most Central Texan Dudes like to do.  Hunting in the Hill Country and Mexico and fishing in the Gulf.  I'm an avid golfer, but not a very good one.  I love to wakeboard and wakesurf on Lake Travis.  You can find me out there most weekend mornings at 8:00am and in the evenings around 7:00.  Look for a Mastercraft X30 with skulls all over it, it is tough to miss.

Some of my favorite resturants in Austin are Flores, they have the best Taco's in town.  If I am craving sushi, there are tons of great places, but I have stayed loyal to Musashino for the last 12 years.  We recently tried The Grille at Rough Hallow and it was amazing.  It is way back in Lakeway, but worth the trip.  My wife loves Lubys so we are there every once in a while too.  Austin has so many great resturants and so many new ones, it is tough to keep up.  Get out there and try one and let me know what you think.  I will post your reviews on my blog.

I graduated from The University of Nebraska Omaha in 1991 with a degree in Journalism and a specialization in speech.  So here I am on the radio, weird huh?

My favorite sports teams are: The Dallas Cowboys, The Dallas Mavericks, any of the Longhorn teams, and the New York Yankees.

Lately, I have been asked to be the Master of Cermonies for several Austin Police events and for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Austin.  I enjoy doing it, so let me know if you are in need of an MC.

I grew up in the mean streets of El Paso, Texas, graduating from Hanks High in 1996.  I moved to Austin in 1999 trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.  I started school and worked part time at Home Depot here in Austin.  I needed an internship for school & I stumbled into Mix 94.7 in 2000 and have never left (I’ve done a little bit of everything at the station)!  I met JB & Sandy at an event in 2002 when they got back from Dallas.  They asked if I wanted to come “hang out” in studio one morning & I just kept on showing up.  Years of persistence, hard work & trying to be funny has landed me where I am.  I thankful everyday for the opportunity I have.  The guys told me something that has stuck with me for years.  They said, “as soon as you wake up one morning not wanting to come in to work than maybe this isn’t for you.”  I’ve yet to have  a morning where I don’t want to go in!  I’ve met some great people in Austin (co-workers, listeners, etc.) & love everything about this great city.

Some personal stuff about me:
-I’m getting married to Andria Aguayo who I’ve known from high school in El Paso in Oct. 2009 back in OF COURSE El Paso, Texas!
-My favorite clothing store is the Gap.
-My first car was a yellow 1971 Ford Maverick Grabber (handed down from Dad)
-I love kids as long as you can give them back to the owners at the end of the day
-I shouldn’t like NASCAR cause I’m Hispanic but I do…A LOT
-My favorite actor is Matthew Perry cause he goes back & forth with his weight like I do ( I can relate)

Proudest moment:
-Losing more than 40 pounds in 4 months a few years ago winning the car of my choice for a year (Cadillac Escalade…DUH!)

Claim to fame:
-I was the FIRST male salesperson at Bath & Body Works in Texas (El Paso 1996-1999)

I was born in Dallas and graduated a Longhorn in ’02. Left Austin for NYC to work as an NBC Page at 30 Rock. I was just like Kenneth the Page on the show 30 Rock! I gave tours of NBC and sat audiences for SNL and Late Night. I then worked on a few morning radio shows from NYC, Austin and Dallas. Finally back in Austin for the 3rd time and so happy to both be back, and to be in a place in my life where I am happy "in the now." I love to cook, see movies, try new restaurants with friends, walk around Town Lake, and eat cupcakes.

I was born and raised in Stilwell, KS, a suburb of Kansas City. The offspring of two “reformed hippies” who almost named me Jericho, I am the youngest of two children, and was the best man at my brother’s wedding (don’t worry, I wore a dress, not a tux!). I got my BFA in Theatre Performance from Wichita State University, and was the only girl on our University’s Improv Comedy Troupe. I relocated to Austin in the fall of 2007 and think it's the greatest city in the U.S.! I chose Austin because I wanted to act and model and had heard there were a lot of opportunities here. After doing some work in films and commercials and taking lots and lots of pictures, I somehow fell into radio and found out it was a lot more fun and required a lot less makeup! I’ve been happily working for Mix 94.7 since April 2008 and have been waking up early with The JB and Sandy Morning Show since May 2009. In my free time, I love hanging out with my boyfriend and friends, checking out live music, rooting on the KU Jayhawks men's basketball team, seeing lots of movies, and "sampling" tasty adult beverages at many of the fine establishments around town. Words to live by: "Well behaved women rarely make history"--Eleanor Roosevelt. (It’s tattooed on my back!)

People always ask where I grew up. Once I grow up, I'll get back to you on that. As far as the formative years go, most of my childhood was spent in Jacksonville, FL which may as well be Georgia. We lived on the West Side (also known as “the best side”) which was full of people who drove trucks and Trans Ams. Once I hit the road for radio, I lived in Alabama and The Carolinas before ending up in Texas. I really like Austin because it’s got beautiful rolling hills and lots of trees, much like The Carolinas. And it doesn’t seem like you have to dress up here.
