Labor Day Weekend Fun is happening in Cedar Park at Splash Jam 2015 in Milburn Park on Sunday (9/6). There’s a Washer tournament starting at 4 pm. Big Fun kicks off at 5 pm with FREE inflatables, live music by Common Tread and Fireworks at 8:30pm. Lace up those running shoes and get those buns in gear for the 33rd Schlotzsky’s Bun Run benefitting JDRF, formerly Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation on Sunday, September 27 in the heart of The Domain. There is a 5K, Kids K and Fastest Dog in ATX. You can register as an individual or get a team together. There will be special awards given out after the race. Look out for the Mix Crew participating and cheering you on.
Proceeds from the race will go directly to JDRF to benefit both the national and local chapters. Since announcing JDRF as the corporate national cause in 2012, Schlotzsky’s has provided almost $500,000 in support and donations to JDRF. Registration 411 here!

The 2015/16 season begins with one of Stephen Mills' signature works. Hamlet is a contemporary ballet, based on the classic Shakespearean story of a young man and his incredible family drama. Ballet companies around the world perform this stunning, lush and emotionally driving dance work, set to music by American composer Philip Glass. In addition to its Austin return, this season Hamlet will be performed by The Washington Ballet at The Kennedy Center in the nation's capital and by Ballet Augsburg in Augsburg, Germany.

Circuit of the Americas (COTA) Formula 1 United States Grand Prix thrilled to announce a very special concert performance by Elton John & His Band on Sunday, October 25, 2015, following the Formula 1 United States Grand Priz (F1 USGP). One of the most acclaimed and beloved artists of our time, his spectacular stage shows are attended by audiences around the globe. Race fans will enjoy a turbocharged two-hour set featuring all of the iconic hits and classic album tracks spanning Elton’s incredible five-decade career on the new festival lawn located in the Circuit’s north infield. Accompanying Elton on stage will be his band featuring, Nigel Olsson on drums (part of Elton's original three-piece band) as well as musical director Davey Johnstone (who first recorded with Elton in 1971 and joined the band full-time a year later) on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion, and Kim Bullard on keyboards.
