Imagine what we can accomplish if we come together to complete large-scale service projects, plant trees, sow native seeds, adopt miles of streets and creeks, and educate students all in one community. Join Keep Austin Beautiful on Thursday, October 23rd from 6:30pm-8:30pm at The Great Outdoors for Beautify Bash to celebrate the launch of Beautify Austin, a large-scale initiative to…Beautify Austin – one community at a time. Featuring live music, silent auction, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and drinks provided by Live Oak Brewery, Natura Wine, and Juiceland. RSVP to raise a toast to Keep Austin Beautiful and join efforts to beautify our public space! $25 suggested donation.

Someday is Today. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today.  LLS is making cures happen by providing patients support services, advocacy for life saving treatments and the most promising cancer research anywhere.  And it's all happening now.  Not someday, but today.

Light The Night Walk is a fundraising campaign of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) which brings together families and communities to honor blood cancer survivors, as well as those lost to the diseases, and shine a light on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

4th Annual Free To Breathe Run/Walk

Austin Heroes Unite to Double Lung Cancer Survival! Register, raise funds, and run or walk – that’s all it takes to be a hero in the eyes of a person facing lung cancer. Join hundreds of community members as they gather for a day of impact at the 4th Annual Austin Free to Breathe Run/Walk November 8 at Bohls Park in Pflugerville. The inspirational event will feature a 5k run/walk, a 1-mile walk for all fitness levels and kid’s activities including a kids’ dash open to children ages 6 and under. All proceeds from the event support Free to Breathe, a nonprofit lung cancer research and advocacy organization dedicated to ensuring surviving lung cancer is the expectation, not the exception. Help us double lung cancer survival by 2022!
