Over the past 16 years the Kids Classic has raised almost $2.6 million dollars to support the healthcare needs of Central Texas children. The Austin Business Travel Association is proud to host  the 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Angel Heart Children's Shelter.  The shelter is located in Austin, Texas and is a 24 hour emergency facility providing safe haven for children who have been removed from their homes due to domestic instabilities such as abuse or severe neglect. Through the partnership of our members, sponsors and donors we have been able to sell out each year. Texas Hearing & Service Dogs, an Austin based non-profit organization, is proud to announce Grammy Award winning Ray Benson & Asleep at the Wheel as headliner for a benefit concert at Antone’s on September 26th. Kicking off the evening will be the Sam Riggs Band, local Austin rising stars in the country music scene. Special guest will be Austin resident, John Paul DeJoria, Co-Founder/CEO Paul Mitchell Hair Products. THSD adopts all of their dogs from animal shelters and rescue leagues. They train the dogs, pair them with partners and then train them both as teams – all free of charge to the recipients.  All training is funded completely through donations. Click HERE for more info.
