Lousy Tippers called out..

A story about a bartender who got stiffed a tip, but had a note written on the receipt that she could  lose a few pounds is the rumbles today. This is clearly not right. It's mean and hurtful. Unfortunately there are just some unhappy people in this world, who just want to bring others down. With the holidays coming, it's always good to brush up on what is considered a good tip for good service.   There's a website www.lousytippers.com that has all the 411.   This site suggests that you tip 20% or more for Good/Great service... 15% for average.. if it isn't that great, well not a big tip and a note why you didn't spread the money love to them.  Only problem I have with the last one, should someone who gave you really crappy service get a tip at all?   That is  the drama you can  have when presented the check.
Here's a a recommended tipping chart:   I have found the bathroom attendant to be the most awkward. You may not have cash on you, but you need to use the restroom.  Do you avoid going to the bathroom? Or stiff the attendant, who could make your next trip miserable? HHHMMM.. What do you think?

'ONE' pay check away...

Update 8/11: Here's our 'Super Committee'.  Click Here

Many fall in this area  just 'One pay check  away' from being homeless',

Doesn't matter how much education or experience you have, which is the case
of Maurice Johnson.  He has a Masters Degree in Plasma Physics from Dartmouth College,
and a Masters in Electrical Engineering and acoustics from Purdue University.
Maurice finds himself somewhere he never thought he would be... HOMELESS!!

With this in mind, the new 'Super Committee' to solve the 'National Debt' really doesn't put my mind at ease for a 'Grand Solution'?

- Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid will appoint Senators Patty Murray of Washington, Max Baucus of Montana and John Kerry of Massachusetts to a special committee charged with finding $1.5 trillion in budget savings. Reid, of Nevada, said he will name Murray as co-chairwoman of the bipartisan, 12-member deficit-cutting super-committee, which will be the central focus of political and lobbying activity on Capitol Hill for the next four months. Megan Hughes reports on Bloomberg Television's "InsideTrack." (Source: Bloomberg)

Check out how people are being picked!

Deadline for a complete' Special Committee' is August 16th.   Think picking folks out of the same government that can't seem to figure out a solution is the right thing to do? It will be better cause it's smaller?  Think it might be better to have folks outside of the government like big CEO's, business owners, accountants.... Like- Steve Jobs- Apple has more $ than the government. Maybe he could spot a few pointers on how to get the 1.5 plus trillion debt down, and jobs and the economy back up, so folks in Maurice's situation can get back on track. Also so others don't end up in Maurice's situation.

Just things that make you go  MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!

Another way to Celebrate Tax Day for the refund or the 'SCREAMS' you want

to throw out there for what you owe!!

"The Austin General Mail Facility will accept collection until midnight on April 18 for last minute tax filers.

The U.S. Postal Service facility at 8225 Cross Park Dr. will be the only late night collection point in Austin that day.

The retail window will still only be open until 5:30 p.m. All mail dropped before midnight that day will have

the April 18 postmark, the deadline for filing tax returns.

Many Austinites will likely take note of the late drop box as

the city was ranked 4th worst tax procarastinatingin the U.S.

The tax filing deadline was pushed back this year to April 18 from April 15.

Taxpayers that ask for an extension will have until Oct. 17 to file their 2010 tax returns."
